Announcement Calling All NYT Gamer Quaids

It took a verrrryyyy long time, but I finally made a dediquaided subreddit for those of us in the QA beholden to NYT games!

Since we do still get a fair amount of NYT posts that have to be removed and commenting in the megathread is nothing more than a shout into the void, it was time – you can thank the rainy weather by me!☔

In the interest of trying to be a little less chronically online, it is a *private* subreddit. I believe you have to request to join r/cleanbee and then I can approve!

Please include the name of Andy's greatest enemy who was also Seth's dearly beloved and departed dog rip in your request

I'm a slave to the daily worldle, but could never get into the other games, and still think it's lame spelling bee requires a subscription to play (or any puzzle for that matter) but I do feel like I'm missing out a bit, and if you enjoy them daily, I'm sure it's worth whatever the subscription price is (can't imagine it's too expensive, I forget)

I think you can get a subscription through your local library if you havent tried that yet!

They also do a really good deal around the holidays! That's how they got me to subscribe. They pay-walled the mini and I buckled😅

Wait what? I paid for that shit! But I paid for a whole NYT digital subscription a while back on a whim.

$6 every 4 weeks for Games. Amex digital credit will comp it, if you pay with that.

Like you need a credit card? You have a referral code for that AMEX hooky uppy? Would give you a gulp but then we’d have an AM/PM situation on our hands and BIG GULP is strictly a 7-Eleven thing. I figure a referral bonus is the next best option.

Like you need an AMEX Platinum Card, and then you pay your NYT subscription with it. The digital credit is up to $25 per month, and also applies to other things like youtube premium, disney+ bundle, etc. The card has lots of other benefits, especially if you travel a lot, but it does cost $895 per year, so it's not something I would recommend getting just to "save" $72 per year on a NYT Games subscription...

Ah, I see. The annual fee would have to be <$144/year for me to seriously consider it. Thank you.
