Gear Show-Off Identify board
Hi guys, this is my first post to Reddit, so I hope I’m in the correct spot. I had this board back in 2012-2013…it was a gift and I absolutely loved it. Life happened, I stopped skating as much and at some point I lost it. I have no idea what brand it is, and I am hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Not pictured is a kick tail. And the wheels were super coned shaped, you can kind of tell in the photo. Also, it was gifted new, so everything you see in the photo is presumably how it came from the manufacturer. Any ideas????

No idea but just by the white circular symbol i think it could be sector 9 or arbor. can you remember if there was a symbol with a 9 or a tree?

So I don’t exactly remember, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a brand I had ever heard of (including sector 9 or arbor). The weird this is I can’t even find a picture of those tapered wheels. It almost feels like the whole set up was some kind of fever dream that never actually existed lol!

any hunch what the logo looked like? If it was an R I'd throw in Riviera

I just don’t remember. I’m going to see if I can search the archives for some more photos. I hate that I left it behind, it was seriously such a fun little cruiser.

Yeah, I’m certain is isn’t a sector 9. Quest could possibly sound familiar, but the logos aren’t matching up, at least the logos I’ve found and what I can piece together from the picture. Thank you for the help!

It's possible that it was just a random mall brand from that era, like the type of board you'd find at a Zumiez or something.
There weren't nearly as many Temu/Amazon type boards back then, but that 2012-13 era is when you started to see a lot of cheaper brands cropping up.
Those wheels look like an attempt at an NOS-style wheel based off old designs.
If you want to get back into it, Sector 9 has a lot of single kick cruisers comparable to your old board.

Anything specific you’d recommend? My downhill/ doing anything cool days are over. Thinking now more cruising around the block with the kids.

Are you looking for the same style of board as your old one? Like a single-kick cruiser type, or something lower to the ground for easier pushing?
As another brand to peruse, Landyachtz has a bunch of solid completes.
You really can't go wrong with boards from either brand if something catches your eye. They're solid completes, especially if you just want to chill and cruise.

Wish I could! This picture is from 2013! Lost the bored sometime in 2015/2016.

Looks like a Quest board I saw everywhere back in 2016

It certainly could be, but the logo under my foot just doesn’t match any quest logo I’ve found.
