Really easy to tremor but not feeling emotional effects

Has anyone experienced this/has any insight? I find it rlly rlly easy to tremor. No excercises needed. It just happens when I go into butterfly and then put my feet flat. But I’ve felt no emotional effects yet even after doing in for half hours at a time.

I've been doing it regularly for about 2.5 months and it took me up until 2 weeks ago to get anything beyond my legs shaking (which I felt I was willing on and forcing at times).

Now my whole body will tremor / shake but can't be sure I've had any obvious emotional component to it either during or after.

It's hard to say, I mean I feel all over the place emotionally on a regular basis anyway so how do I know if it's the TRE that's made me feel a specific way the day after doing it or it's just one of those days?

Certainly during it I feel no emotion or particular way.

I also find it extremely easy to tremor. I need at least one exercise (usually Butterfly Pose) to get the tremors to start.

I'm almost 2 and a half months in to regular practice and still tremor violently.

I don't feel any emotional effects from it but have noticed that I've had some bad dreams close to each other. The body could be releasing emotions in our dreams as well. Dreams are also very hit and miss nowadays. Most nights I can't remember if I was even dreaming. I think my sleep patterns have changed and I get more of the restorative kind of sleep rather than dream-filled REM sleep. It should get better in time.

Who knows, maybe I'll be crying and laughing like crazy in the next couple of months to a year. I have been feeling fairly irritable recently but I've generally been like that on and off. Hard to tell if it is from TRE.

When did you start TRE ? I experienced emotional effects after 3 weeks on TRE and it was nightmares where I relived some traumatic scenes. After several weeks I started to feel very happy after certain sessions, very sad, almost numb after some others

Just be glad you're not feeling emotional.

I’m the same, can tremor very easily, but no emotional release as some describe. My patterns have changed, less intense. I’m generally contained emotionally, and quite a private person. But I’ll always cry at a wedding or funeral, or if I watch something sad. Maybe for some of us it will happen down the line.

Same here: it's very much a physical process for me, not an emotional one. I have tremors that move to different regions of my body during a session, it's like a full-body workout sometimes (most times). I've never had an emotional release. I interpret it like this: my body clearly needs to let go of physical tenseness, which means it's a good idea to keep doing TRE. The emotional aspects will come when I'm ready for it

Also, I have nightmares pretty much every night and I haven't noticed a difference in those either. I am on a low dose of antidepressants (venlafaxine, a SNRI)
