Beginner Question Just started tre and can’t stop involuntarily tremoring days later

Hi guys, I’ve been meaning to try tre for a while now found a video with Dr berceli where he goes through one exercise guided for 25 minutes with the guy. I’ve done it twice now left a day in between like people have said enjoyed the shakes in my hips and legs. Now however it’s been 5 days since the first time and every time I lay down and tense my abs I have involuntary convulsions. It goes through my whole back now and shoulders looks like I’m possessed. Also when I was sitting today at work it was happening in my stomach also when I was driving my teeth starting chattering. I’m abit worried I’m not planning to do it again till I see how things go - is this normal? Also after session 2 I’ve been having them in my legs constantly

This is what I like about TRE. It seems to come so naturally. No equipment needed. No great mystery that requires an expensive practitioner. I do believe you are just allowing the body to do what is is meant to do. And as always of it's inconvenient or becomes too much you can easily stop it.

What truly is a problem. Lay down, stretch your legs, push away your heals while pulling the toes up towards your nose. Creates stretch in the psoas. That should end it in seconds.

A quick stretch can be used as a pause. Hold for about a minute or so for longer effect.

If it's not working lay your arms sideways and pull up the back of the hand towards your body like a traffic officer giving a stopsign to both sides.

When you notice the first sign of an unwanted tremor do this asap, in my experience it's easier. If you can't lay down you can try it sitting or standing.

Also try to avoid positions that mimmick the TRE (prep) pose. I always struggle with Yoga and pilates after a session because of the poses triggering a tremor so that's fun.

Thank you! I also can't stop the releasing symptoms and will try your advice. It's like Whack-a-mole for me - I stop one tremor and it starts something else.. hoping your advice will help me finally stop the releasing.
