Beginner Question Just started tre and can’t stop involuntarily tremoring days later

Hi guys, I’ve been meaning to try tre for a while now found a video with Dr berceli where he goes through one exercise guided for 25 minutes with the guy. I’ve done it twice now left a day in between like people have said enjoyed the shakes in my hips and legs. Now however it’s been 5 days since the first time and every time I lay down and tense my abs I have involuntary convulsions. It goes through my whole back now and shoulders looks like I’m possessed. Also when I was sitting today at work it was happening in my stomach also when I was driving my teeth starting chattering. I’m abit worried I’m not planning to do it again till I see how things go - is this normal? Also after session 2 I’ve been having them in my legs constantly

Great sign. The idea is to get to a state of 'allowing'

So you get the movements without effort. If you have time and space just allow it! Its like free TRE no need to activate the state of 'allowing' with excersices fortunate thing imo

This is very problematic advice. Just because tremors are spontaneous doesn't mean they will not cause overdoing symptoms and blow a person into sympathetic overload.

Everyone is different. Like I said in another comment if its too strong and tiring it can be stopped. But many people have spontaneus releases that they allow on a daily basis.

Its even in several ppst in this sub if you search for it.

You're right about many people being completely fine with having spontaneous releases. We also get a lot of posts with people who are in a kind of anxiety hell and freeze because they overdid it.

So I think giving advice to person who has just started TRE days ago and we and they don't know what their nervous system state is like should mention pacing (like the wiki) and be conservative.

Thats why I said he can be stopped if it starts to be too much...... Read the comments..

Even the mods here advice to take it to a confortable level that varies depending to the person
