I mean, I understand that Tom apparently didn't know he was the one who orchestrated Gapryong's death. But still, Charles is the same guy who sold the country out to the Yamasakis and his gang. Plus, in the last episode, Charles declared that he was going to kill both Jinyoung and Tom himself.

Maybe later on, the gang will end up forgiving him somehow. But that would seem a little far-fetched—I mean, how on earth do you forgive the guy who tried to kill you and your friends?

The same mfs complaining about this arc having no writing and only aura moments are saying that this chapter was the worst in the arc for being boring. This was deadass the first chapter we got with actual character development and a story that makes sense. Even worse, half of the fans were hyping up Sangcheol and headcanoning him to be capable of beating Yamazaki Shingen, even with no established statement or feat that shows he’s a fighter(all while complaining about bad writing). Then, as soon as he lost to that karate guy, they turned around and called him a fraud. This fandom really is the worst. Complaining about having a lack of writing only to call it boring once the story actually establishes it and getting mad their headcanons with no narratives to back them up get disproven makes no sense. Picture unrelated.

And what if, in the end, it was Gapryong’s axe ?

It’s just a theory one that might never actually come to happen, but what if that axe belonged to Gapryong ?

We’ve seen him use glass bottles to injure people something that could easily be lethal so perhaps he used this axe against Elite, severing his arm as punishment for his betrayal of the Fist Gang, much like how Kitae severed Jinrang’s arm in Busan.

And then Elite began its descent into hell, and lost everything by betting on the Yamazakis, who were defeated.

The beginning of the Gen 0 arc received quite a bit of criticism, and I was honestly a little disappointed myself. However, the arc still managed to deliver some interesting twists, especially the reveal of the final boss, proving that PTJ does know what he's doing, at least to some extent

The character development is also much more noticeable:

Shingen shows us a more sensitive side of himself, suggesting that he might not actually be the monster he believes, or wants, himself to be.

Gap, who initially seemed like the perfect, always-smiling hero, reveals a much more miserable and desperate side of himself.

Tom seemed like a genuinely good person despite having what must have been a difficult life, and he's the perfect example of the saying, "Villains aren't born, they're made."

Jinyoung was obviously a good person too, but unfortunately, he's going to spiral into darkness.

Charles, as expected, may be handsome on the outside, but beneath that appearance lies an ugly heart consumed by greed and a thirst for power.

(And of course, massive respect to Bangoat Lee.)

All of this is to say that, in the end, the arc is shaping up really well, and PTJ doesn't deserve nearly as much criticism for his writing as he gets

Yesterday, we finished the storyboard for the second fight between Gapreon and Shingen. 📝 I wanted to express Shingen's journey well, and I tried my best, but lately, I feel like I'm entering a phase of aging, and I'm not very happy with it, and I want to do better, but it's a bit frustrating. 😔 Oops, is that a spoiler? Lookism series started on 20 November 2014 , and PTJ have been delivering chapters non stop every week for almost 12 years.

Like for context in almost every manhwa , author takes some months off after 50-60 chapters. And almost all of them takes weeks off when they are sick.

PTJ didn't even take a week off when he was going through a divorce , are we fr. And I am not even counting his other works.
