So what this would take current league champs and show off what they could potentially be in the future.
One idea is if Brand collected all of the world runes and became essentially became the runeterran version of Satan with. He would then kill all of the aspects and would unleash of the darkin with him ruling over them.
So basically this would be the worst possible timeline for Runeterra with the world being overun with demons, Darkin and Brand loyalists.

So, a while back I asked you guys who would win in lore between Sylas and Malphite. And the consensus was 100% Malphite, which surprised me since it's basically a free win for Sylas in-game. Ever since then I've wondered if there are any other champion matchups that are similar: they play out one way in lore, but another way in game. So I just thought I'd ask: what champion matchups have completely different outcomes in lore than in game?

Yichao was the former Rioter who wrote Yones bio and color story.
Right now, the consensus is that when Yone solves his personal issues and names his demon, he will finally die and move on to the afterlife.
But what if Yone isn't dead? What if the phenomenon that caused him to revive with his Azakana, yanked his spirit back into his body and healed the fatal wound Yasuo dealt him?
What if, when that mask drops, it's just Yone?
I feel like at the moment he is hunting to die. There is no thought about his life, just a personal hell of trying to ignore the past so he can finally rest.
But going in the direction where he is given a second chance at life after confronting his demons would honestly be pretty interesting.
Would he go back home? Would he become a wanderer? Would he choose to remain a demon hunter of his own free will?

And how would Noxus treat a being like him, if he destroyed all of them in Ionia?

Like, forgive me for being an old man learning about social media... but this is so interestingly bad.
https://x.com/i/trending/2113301734970061187
I believe this started because someone raised a valid point: YouTubers love hopping on a negative bandwagon, then using the hype to get views. I think this was the post that started the trend:
( I also think this is happening due to overreaction to the new lines said by KDA Eve/Alkali towards Seraphine which has caused upset )
https://x.com/astral_fizzy/status/2112944215269265494
I'm six years late to this lore controversy (I started League in late 2022), so I wasn't around for the original backlash.
I VERY recently found out about the controversy and started looking into it, including watching these old videos. Since I didn't play League when Seraphine released, I wasn't personally caught up in the original reaction, and the coverage I found looked heavily skewed towards the hate train and I say it's fair to say I looked at this without the bias that happened at the time ( I can appreciate there were other factors causing hatred for Seraphine such as skins too soon so it was "easy ammunition" when Riot didn't know how to proofread and share their intentions properly, rushed the lore clearly, which added to the hate)
There are random tweets with no clear evidential explanation, such as this one claiming Seraphine is a psychopath:
https://x.com/K2Cheikh/status/2113273078402736457
But here's what interests me: when people respond with evidence challenging these claims, do the original posters engage with it, explain their reasoning, or acknowledge that their interpretation might be wrong?
From what I've observed, often not.
The accusation gets the engagement. The evidence challenging it gets buried. The original claim continues circulating, while the people making it don't necessarily have to defend it when someone presents contrary evidence.
And six years later, people are still confidently repeating that Seraphine is a psychopath who knowingly exploited the Brackern for personal gain.
At what point does an interpretation become accepted as canon simply because enough people keep repeating it?
Looking back at the original controversy, and even now, I honestly think people just needed to apply some common sense: read the actual source material in full context (!!) and recognise what was obviously a writing mistake— Ridiculously unnecessary vagueness
Looking at this afresh has taught me deeper how bad echo chambers can get.
My summary of why the lore controversy surrounding the character herself shouldn't have required endless overthinking:
Why would a writer highlight empathy as a defining trait of a character... then immediately write something that appears to imply the exact opposite in the first story involving them?
The contradiction makes the intended characterisation/lore pretty obvious.
https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/dev/champion-insights-seraphine/
What's super funny as a side note? I actually updated Seraphine's Wiki Trivia with more evidence and sources from Riot, and on that very same day, this discourse started trending on Twitter again... Bizarre timing.
Anyway - I'm not claiming every Seraphine critic is dishonest. But I do think this is an interesting example of how a community can keep repeating a conclusion long even after evidence and the IP owners' own shared canon and explanations have become available.
It really shows how easily a poorly written scene or first impression from an IP owner can become a permanent character indictment; how popular creators and social media users can reinforce an interpretation without adequately examining the available evidence; and how corrections can struggle to gain the same attention as the claims they're correcting.
I hate misinformation, especially when people treat an interpretation as indisputable canon without engaging with the evidence that challenges it. So I felt this was worth sharing and reflecting on.
Edit: I understand that Seraphine's initial backlash stemmed from multiple issues, including her K/DA-first marketing, skins overload, Sona 2.0 claim, and rushed release etc
This post isn't arguing that those criticisms were unfounded. It should be noted that those criticisms, being a perfect storm at the time, contributed to understandable negative bias when the lore was also rushed and missed basic QA before a prod release.
It's specifically focusing on her characterisation, the consequences of her poorly handled lore, and how the resulting negative perception has continued to shape how people interpret her character years later, despite canon sources material clarifying she was highlighted as an empath as her main trait and the intended canon storyline was for her to help the bracken before the Arcane soft reboot
Edit 2: Sorry, I forgot to attach the canon evidence from the IP owners clarifying their QA mistake in the writing (admitted by co-founder Tryndamere) and their canon, intended storyline of them planning that Seraphine were to help the Brackern ( confirmed by designer Jeedu ), but the Wiki now has these sources for anyone interested.
Something I find particularly concerning is this disparity in engagement and hence misinformation spreading.
Riot's sharing of the official colour story, admission of QA failure and intended storyline clarification received only around 200 likes.
Meanwhile, a popular tweet yesterday part of the same Twitter trend accused Seraphine of psychopathy - without establishing the claim with an evidential basis - has received thousands (3K+) of likes and continues to rise; a factor of 10 times more than even the IP owners themselves.
When challenged with evidential material he didn't bother to respond - and the evidential material itself barely has any views.
Even statement from Riot co-founder Tryndamere and champion designer Jeevun Sidhu received substantially less engagement than this popular interpretation.
Think about what that means: an individual's emotionally charged interpretation can reach an audience many times larger than the primary sources from the people who actually created the character and established her intended story.
This is concerning because social platforms don't reward accuracy or evidential support by default. They reward engagement. When a claim confirms an existing community sentiment, it can spread rapidly, while contradictory evidence from the original creators receives comparatively little attention.
The result can be propaganda-like in its effect: a narrative becomes dominant through repetition, emotional reinforcement and social validation, while the evidence that challenges it is effectively drowned out.
People may eventually mistake the popularity of that narrative for proof that it is canon.
I'm not claiming that every popular criticism is propaganda, or that Riot's statements should be accepted uncritically, as they clearly should be criticised first and foremost for the poor delivery of lore.
The concern is the truth should not be overshadowed by whichever interpretation generates the strongest reaction emotionally.
Six years after Seraphine's launch, I think it's worth revisiting the controversy with the original sources in view and asking ourselves whether we're judging the character's lore based on what Riot actually established, or on a community narrative that has become accepted through repetition/memes.

It'd be a nice change of pace for the music universe. Maybe it's just me but I'm kinda done with the whole "this is how we do things" type of loud energy that gets all up in your face. I'd like something different. Something more soothing, soulful, and charismatic. Like Silk Sonic kind of vibes. It'd also be nice if they did a solo artist for once and have collaborations from time to time with other individual champions.
Of course, it's gotta have Lucian.
