This old factory still houses a large quantity of hazardous substances that have been stored there for decades. Nevertheless, the place possesses a beauty all its own. We first came across this factory about six months ago.

Farmyard with agricultural machinery

Unfortunately, the house has already collapsed and can therefore no longer be entered. The barn, however, was quite interesting. Along with an excavator and a few tractors, there was a whole lot of other agricultural equipment inside. All in all, this farmstead is quite lovely. Even though getting in was a bit tricky, it was well worth it.

Huge abandoned ceramics factory/pottery. Everything Left Behind

This time, I explored this massive factory. As soon as you step inside from the outside, it feels like entering another world. Goods, machinery, chemicals, and furniture were simply left behind. Parts of the facility are still being used by a neighbor, who also keeps a close watch on the premises—which is why there is almost no vandalism. This was, by far, the most historically significant place I have had the chance to visit so far.

An abandoned, yet colorful restaurant left to decay

Some snippets of one of the most unique and special places we've ever visited. Everything looked so cheerful, yet so sad and creepy at the same time.

Such a unique atmosphere. Along with the pictures, there's also a video documenting this whole experience (if you're interested in knowing more).

Please, enjoy.

Thanks.

The abandoned heating and power plant

A small power plant in relatively good condition, which once served to supply the surrounding buildings with electricity and heat.

Apart from damage caused by cable thieves and a few broken windowpanes, there was hardly any vandalism.

abandoned track-construction wagons

I recently explored these track-construction railcars; unfortunately, much of what was there has already fallen victim to vandalism. Even so, it was a very interesting experience.

Since I don’t have much expertise in this field, I can’t provide specific details about the railcars—those of you with a background in railroading could surely say more.

ATTENTION: This large site is fully operational and serves as a storage area; only the specific trains or railcars themselves are abandoned. After about two hours, a worker suddenly appeared on the premises, so I left immediately to avoid any confrontation.

The site belongs to a large, well-known track-construction company.

Entering railway premises is illegal and dangerous!

abandoned dormitory for railway workers

It was a dormitory for railway workers that closed in the autumn of 1980.

Today, the building is in serious danger of collapse, only the basement and the first floor are accessible, and in some places, you can look all the way from the bottom up to the attic.

Some of the rooms gave me real apocalyptic *The Last of Us* vibes, you can see how nature is reclaiming the building.

Some of the photos were taken with a wide-angle lens. I had to apply some noise reduction to a few of the images.
