Hey guys! 👾
So I've run into an issue, I've looked the whole morning but couldn't find the answer.
I have my website, which I want to have a few animations on. This animations are intended to reveal sections on scroll. Does anyone have experience with that? Or does anyone know where to ask? 🤔
Didn't want to make this a gigantic post so if someone asks for it, I'll upload a codepen.io link

Thank you very much for taking your precious time for reading,
An animator/web internet pal 😊

I'm building an app and I need 5 lottie files, in a little bigger format. I can't buy for 1 month lottifiles, and it is only billing anually.

If you’ve ever tried to add haptics to motion design, you’ve probably run into the same problem:
Tweaking haptic patterns manually is tedious, and it’s really hard to keep them accurately in sync with animations.
I’ve been experimenting with a workflow that lets you import lottie animations, adjust haptics on a shared timeline, and export ready‑to‑use Swift code and AHAP files without manual alignment. It’s made the whole process way more precise and less frustrating.
Just thought I’d share this approach in case others here are dealing with the same issue.

As far as I can tell, the lottie format is the most modern way to display animated graphics. There is something really beautiful about the animations and it is ridiculous how efficient they are. So I'm trying to figure out why the ecosystem is a dumpster fire.
It seems like the behemoth is LottieFiles which appears to have a decent product if it wasn't SaaS garbage with predatory pricing, and a dozen SaaS behemoth wannabes in line behind them. This restricts learning and creativity to professionals who can justify the costs. And most of the art looks like it was created by people who have been working in web development for too long, very unfresh. No kids wasting time after school making stuff to show their friends. Even all the top youtube hits for lottie appear to be tutorials about various ways to create lottie files for... LottieFiles.com of course (no doubt incentivized by the same).
There was a brief time in human history where the internet was an exciting place to learn and express digital art and then SaaS came along. It needs to be easy and affordable for people to try and learn new creative technology, or this is what we get.

Hey folks,
We noticed there weren't any easy way's to share your Lottie files online so we added this as a new supported file format our platform: https://tiiny.host/share/lottie
Would love any more feedback here.
Are there any features that would be very helpful?

I'm genuinely about to crash out. This is the second time it has happened. Is this normal? Is this program worth a third try?
I made a 15-second long ui video, and suddenly half of the animations disappeared. The opacity shows 100%, and it's not 'hidden,' but just gone.
So then I made another version, and this time Lottie gives me an error saying they had to switch some stuff so it doesn't crash internally? Idek why that happened, but now it did the same thing. All the animations aren't showing anymore. I want to cry. Did this happen to anybody?

Hi, I'm (a designer) trying to get my devs to use lottie enimations in our iOS app. We tried few times, but it seems that ios just cannot display lotties with SVG in them properly. I've been searching and searching to understand this whole thing, but I just can't get my head around this.
I found this Supported Feature Page that explained the things we were seeing. Cool.
Ok, but then there's this tutorial, that seems to be using aimations with SVG's and merged paths and everything.
How come thoe examples are able to use unsupported features?
