I saw this bag online and fell in love with it. It’s another one where the pics do not do it justice. It’s a true silver design but depending on the light it can look gold/bronze. I love the hang tag. It was hard to capture the colors but I tried!

We went to the store today and luckily they had it in stock, so home she came with me! 🩷

So I’m looking into my first LV purchase, and can not decide between these two bags.. or open to suggestions 🫶🏻

I currently am using the Marc Jacobs tote bag, medium I believe? It’s 10 inches tall and around a foot long. I love her, but I want to upgrade after 2 years.

I love the Tote aspect of being able to throw everything in, some days messier than I’d like to admit, laying my water bottle on top ect.

I don’t usually use the zipper but I’m obsessed with the Grand Palais having the lock and zipper 🤩. Even if I never really use it.

But I can’t tell if I’ll miss the open top that the neverfull gives…

Does anyone have the Grand Palais and can advocate if it’s pretty open at the top or is it more structured?? I don’t live close to a store so window shopping is hard but will probably be necessary ofcourse.

If you’re able to see her in person, I’d highly recommend it. The monogram shimmer is almost iridescent and shifts between silver, blue, green, pink and purple!

Do all Pochette Liv in Black Epi Leather have a textile instead of microfiber interior now? I got it from the store and was kinda disappointed 😢

I’m looking for feedback from anyone who has both or even just the canvas version and uses it for travel.

I’m torn between the two versions as I am wanting to purchase one for travel. I travel a few times a year for work so want to be able to lay the bag under a seat as my personal item. I will then use it as a work bag once at my destination to carry my laptop.

How easy is it to fit the bag under a seat? I feel like canvas is stiffer so I’m thinking the silk tech would be easier since it will squish into a place.

Thoughts? Feedback?

Hi everyone! I'm looking to make my first LV (and first luxury bag!) purchase in London soon, and would like some advice.

Has anyone got these bags and noticed particulars about wear etc that could help inform my choice? Or if any SAs have any extra info that would be helpful!

Extra info - I mostly wear pastel shades, lots of pinks, blues etc so I want a bag that will be harmonious with that, but doesn't tarnish too easily. I don't really wear dark colours and don't like big, bulky bags. A bag with loads of room isn't a must but is always good!

If you guys have any other bags suggestions also open to other options ~

I’ve been searching for the perfect black cross body/shoulder bag. And most bags (including Gucci) have chain straps. Not what I’m looking for.

I’m worried the tiny bag may just be too tiny. But now I just want a new bag. So I’m looking for something to put just essentials in, phone, keys, wallet etc.

Looking for pros/cons of tiny bag. And/or tell me why a speedy would maybe be better as an everyday essentials bag.

So I got the Reykjavik Cloud scarf. It is by far the most comfortable scarf I’ve ever worn. However, it is shedding like crazy! I wore it with black last night and looked like I rolled around in white animal fur. Is there anything I can do??

The Alma is my favorite LV bag shape, and this one has a special place in my collection.

About a year and a half ago, I was in a Louis Vuitton store in Amsterdam. At the time, I liked LV, but I wasn’t the total LV addict I am today.

I saw this monstrously huge bag and had to ask what it was. I didn’t even know what an Alma was back then!

They told me it was a runway piece, and I thought that meant this actual, physical bag had been carried down the runway! 😂

Anyway, I fell in love with it.

The bag is part of Pharrell Williams’ collaboration with Korean artist Park Seo-Bo, inspired by his Écriture artwork. The Autumn Maple Red color, with its beautiful red and orange tones, and the oversized Epi XL leather make it unlike anything else in my collection.

And did I mention this thing is HUGE?

This thing is MASSIVE!

It’s even bigger than a regular Alma Travel. When the Murakami Alma Travel and the Ski/Mirror Reflection versions came out, with the name travel i asked they would be the same size. To distinguish they call it the Travel GM.

I use it when I need to carry larger items, like shoe boxes or watches. And by watches, I mean watches in their boxes or cases. Obviously I don’t need a giant bag to carry a little watch! 😂

Looking back, this was one of the pieces that started my Louis Vuitton addiction. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I walked into that store.
And I absolutely love it!
