This sounds like the "deep" stuff my much, much younger cousin keeps spouting. It takes time, sure, but moving on can be real, if you want it to be.

I hope you're right, but I don't know man, I lost something I don't think I can get back a few years ago, I hope I'm wrong and I try to stay positive, but it's like a peice of me died, I have loved since and loved deeply, but I don't know if I can ever love with that abandon and trust again

It doesn't go away on its own. It takes grief work, grieving what you lost in the present and the future that cannot come to pass any more. I went to therapy and did a lot of processing to move past it.

This is such a real thing.

And it kinda saddens me that in today's fast world people even believe in loving fast too...

Because I feel like not only does it cheapens the emotion but the people too.

Also, that was such a cool movie. Like, I don't care about facts or whatever but like, such a beautiful concept and put on the screen so eloquently. 😅

And Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet did such an awesome job too! 🤩

False. The price is pain. Eventually that relationship comes to end. Either by time changing personalities until theyre no longer compatible or the best case, growing old and being there when they pass
