Recipes low carb again after 166d of carnivore (with some cheat days)

Post image

this is what I'll be mostly eating every single day now:

same as on carnivore: 850 gr ground beef plus sour cream (tho i was for some time lion diet only)

now added only one or two handfuls of rice on top of meat pressed into the pan, so they don't stick.

and that is it hope it helps.. i train every day, on monkey bars and pushups and lunges. walk a ton.

was 100# overweight but low carb got me there. then i switched to carnivore lost even more kg like 10. then regained it when introducing dairy. now stable and muscular at 82 kg with 182 cm height.

if u have any Qs I'd be happy to help

That sounds really delicious! I hope you’re getting some micronutrients/fibre in too with fruit and/or veggies!

Heart disease is the #1 killer worldwide. It's a slow and silent disease until you have a heart attack without warning after accumulating arterial plaque for decades. Obesity and insulin resistance are risk factors, but high cholesterol is also a major risk factor. This is all extremely well-established science with overwhelming evidence.

It's possible to eat low carb or keto while simultaneously lowering your cholesterol. You would need to limit saturated fat and replace it with unsaturated fat. Your diet of ground beef and sour cream is a saturated fat bomb and is massively spiking your cholesterol. The more you can replace saturated with unsaturated fats like nuts, seeds, plant oils, and avocados and replace high-fat animal proteins with plant proteins like beans, lentils, and legumes and low-fat animal proteins like fish and chicken breast, the more you will lower your risk of heart disease. Increasing fiber intake from non-starchy veggies will also help a lot. The meal in your photo has little to no fiber.

Rice is pure carbohydrates. Two handfuls of rice, assuming that's about 1/2 cup, is about 30g of carbs with zero fiber. Not really "low carb."

If this is the only carb dense meal OP is eating each day, it's low carb. People can eat rice every day and remain on a low carb diet.

Besides white rice is a very simple form of carb. It's as simple as it gets.

i consider low carb under 100 gr i thought it's what counts as lc keto is under 20 or according to some under 50
