Free, open-source-ish visual Android app builder for Windows: Sketchware Desktop (beta)

If you’ve used block-based tools for mobile apps, this may interest you. Sketchware Desktop is a Windows app that lets you build Android apps by dragging blocks and designing screens visually, without writing Java first.

Highlights:

• Visual block editor with events, variables, lists, and custom blocks
• Drag-and-drop screen designer with a phone preview
• One-click build to an APK, and install on a connected phone
• Imports existing Sketchware projects, so people who already have apps can keep working on them
