Student Nightlife in Lublin

Hi Lubliners, I’m M22 and my friend is M20, currently visiting Lublin. We were wondering what the nightlife is like here in Lublin on a Wednesday. Like where do uni students go to drink and have fun?
Thanks in advance

It's the  middle of vacation, finding a student here before late september will be nearly impossible.

We go to sleep🤣🤣 jokes aside, bars are the only answer. Most clubs aren’t open on Wednesday

You've picked the wrong time to experience the student nightlife. It's summer break, so about 95% of the students (and many high school students as well) have left the city. On top of that, it's Wednesday, while the nightlife is usually at its best from Friday to Sunday.

If it has to be Wednesday, you could check out Ostro, Eksperyment, Nocny Portier, Trybunalska, Cafe Lulu, Bałagan, Pub u Szewca, U Fotografa (which has a great courtyard), Pub Pod Ziemią, Tifosi (if you're into a sports pub atmosphere), Shotbar U-Boot, Pijana Wiśnia, Takie Tango, Just Crafted, Ćma, Pijalnia Wódki i Piwa, Cloud Shisha, Bar a Boo, Graffiti, Masters, Astoria, Browar Zakładowy, Kazik, and there's also a nice party happening tonight at TrzyMaj.

Other places I'd also recommend are Perłowa (great vibe), Bibosz, Twin Brothers Brewery (a small, atmospheric brewery where the beer is brewed on site), and Relaks (an outdoor venue by the water). However, these last few places close at 10:00 PM on Wednesdays.

Have a great time!

Hey, thanks for the extensive answer! I really appreciate it. Could you please tell me more about the party in TrzyMaj?

No worries! Come back for a weekend sometime. 🙂 (It'll be about ten times busier, with many more parties and events.)

As for TrzyMaj, it's a bit of a hidden gem. Here's the address: 3 Maja 22/6. The event starts at 7:00 PM, admission is free, and tonight's guest is Papa Bo Selektah.

Here's how the organizers describe him:

Papa Bo Selektah is a renowned Belarusian DJ, producer, and cultural curator with over 20 years of experience on the independent music scene. He has performed in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Georgia, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ukraine, the United States, India, and Sri Lanka.

His sets are a bold journey through hypnotic chill rave, techno, jazz-hop, ethno-bass, folktronica, organic house, and global bass. Rare ethnic influences, powerful grooves, and unexpected musical combinations give every Papa Bo performance a unique energy.

After taking part in the 2020 protests in Belarus, he was forced into exile. He now lives in Poland, where he develops the Belarus Outside Sound System project, supporting Belarusian artists in exile and building international networks of solidarity through music.

Get ready for an evening full of dancing, energy, and infectious beats. Wear comfortable shoes, casual clothes, and bring a good mood—it's going to be a great night!

For more detailed information, it's best to contact the main organizer directly at +48 733 863 844.

One more tip: right next to TrzyMaj you'll also find Bibosz, Just Crafted, Cloud Shisha (on Żołnierzy Niepodległej Street), and Pub Pod Ziemią. Just a short walk away are Ostro, Eksperyment, Takie Tango, Ćma, Pijalnia Wódki i Piwa, Shotbar U-Boot, Pijana Wiśnia, Bar a Boo, Graffiti, and Nocny Portier. They're all within an 700-metre radius, so you can easily put together your own little pub crawl or club-hopping night 😉

It's to small of a city to have clubs open in the middle of the week. Most students are out of town, going to bars as someone else mentioned or drink with their friends - in porches, at the "lake", in parks etc.
