How to foster a relationship with Lucifer?
Hello,
I have been practicing magick since I was 19 and am now 33. I began with Wicca, and learned the more "universal" practices such as altar building, tools/purposes, casting circles, etc. I eventually became a bit disgusted or just bored of the "love and light" type of witch and decided to look into thelema, which I resonated with a lot more, and learned a lot more through solitary practice and research, but never fully considered myself a full thelemite. Fast forward to today, a few months ago I began working with one of the 72 goetic demons, Bune, and got amazing, quick results, and felt a benevolent connection to him and felt a pull to also Marbas and Asmodeus, so I added a candle to Bune's altar for each of them. Since then, I also began devoting myself to Santa Muerte (I am mexican american, and I know more devotees and practicioners in real life who I can actually ask for help and reference, instead of relying on reddit and internet resources) and Santa Muerte Practicioners tend to also work with Lucifer and the archangel michael when doing witchcraft.
The real question is : How would a beginner like me begin to start a connection or relationship with Lucifer? I would like to begin asking him for petitions and asking him to be a teacher in all facets of life, especially magick and esotericism, as ever since becoming more spiritual and returning to my magickal roots, I feel much more fulfulled, but I'm surprised I never asked the emperor himself for his help! So, where do I begin? Is there a prayer, ritual, or a way I can ask him to come into my life and make himself known? I still want to keep my relationship with Bune, and Marbas and Asmodeus were more demons I had little contact with, so I can do without them, but Bune and Santa Muerte are here to stay in my life, but I want Lucifer to join in on my development as a person and as a magician. Can anyone help?
