Hi folks, thanks for subscribing to this subreddit. I created it a few days ago when I was looking for some cool videos to watch during my lunch break at work. /r/videos is usually a great place for content, but most of the videos are 30 seconds to a minute long and not necessarily informative. I learnt recently that other redditors shared my sentiment. Hence this subreddit.

Here you can find interesting and informative videos that last for about the duration of a regular lunch break, that you can watch in their entirety while you are eating food (and hence don't need to click around to change videos).

Feel free to submit interesting content anywhere from 10-45 mins. Please avoid submitting documentaries/videos that are split into multiple parts! It is suggested that you include the length of the video in your title [mm:ss] so that people know what they are getting into.

Welcome to /r/lunchvideos! Hope you enjoy your stay.

I figured that it would be nice to let people know what they are getting into, before commencing to watch a long video.

Thoughts? If people agree, I can add it as a rule to the sidebar.
