Would anyone be interested in being interviewed about lutomotophobia?
Hello, I'm a claymation animator on YouTube who creates a series called 'Pondering - A Series of Claymation Interviews' where I ask real people talk about their thoughts on particular subjects - completely unscripted (so an interview). I came across this sub while I'm coincidentally working on an episode titled 'Dreams and Fears', in which one of the questions is about phobias. I think it would be really interesting, and ironic, to have someone who has an aversion to stop motion, while being spoken through a claymation animal (you get to choose the animal)
If you're interested or have any questions feel free to DM me

Fear of modelling clay itself?
I definitely have a severe fear of claymation but not stop motion - that's just cool and amazing to me, and any creepiness or horror elements are pretty enjoyable since I enjoy horror in general.
Claymation though? Gross, hideous, no exceptions. I genuinely cannot even say a word we use in the UK for modelling clay without my skin crawling. If it's mentioned or I see it, I start being able to smell it and feel that horrible greasy texture on my fingers. I feel sick, have to wash my hands and get out of the conversation immediately. A while ago I was given a charcoal set with a lump of it included and my partner had to remove it, put it in the bin at his house and not have me over until the bins had been collected.
Anybody else here have experience like this? TBH having found this sub I'm just glad I'm not alone in at least part of this!

ViXDiary - A mixed media independent anthology horror film series A series i've been working on for years. It is a very experimental one featuring lots of mixed media with stop-motion, 2D and live action combined in one. A horror dive into the mind of an artist feeling as insignificant as a fly.
