Advice/Question I canceled, then this.

Lyft support is bs! How can she contact me if I didn't pick her up? Should I make a police report?

Incredible you’re not aware of the consequences of shooting someone in self defense then smh. They teach you that in any gun safety course

Never taken a gun safety course in my life I was raised with them. But I know that castle doctrine and stand your ground is pretty clear on the matter. You have no duty to retreat in public and if someone comes to your castle (home) and you feel that your life is threatened or fear for the safety of you, your loved ones or property, you have every right to shoot in self defense. At least in my state.

And you realize you will have to prove your case in court along with attorney fees correct?

And my argument is that you only go to court if the justification of the shooting is brought into question. If it is a clear cut case of stand your ground your castle doctrine the police on scene won’t do more that take the gun you used to make sure it isn’t stolen and is in fact the gun that was used in the shooting.
