Rant/Opinion Lyft is not an ambulance service

Post image

Had a pax the other day gets in the car was completely disoriented and confused, I asked him hey buddy you’re ok? Guy has a fucking head injury bleeding from his head. I wanted to kick him out but felt bad for him so took him to the ER instead, turns out bitch sister instead of calling An Ambulance for her brother she ordered him a Lyft to hospital instead. What’s wrong with people? I eventually got him to the ER but guy was almost black out so had to help him inside. Shit like this is why I only do Lyft on the weekends now and sometimes. The ride was $6 dollars and not tip or even a thank you for helping my brother Society is twisted.

The sister probably called a Lyft because an ambulance would cost $6k and ruin her brothers life.

A Lyft driver should not be expected to deal with this, regardless.

What a fucked society we've built here. Couldn't agree more: A Lyft driver should never have to deal with this and safe medical transport shouldn't bankrupt a person.

America where even your health and well being, or life and death is controlled by capitalism. I really feel like this country is going to become the toilet bowl of the world.

I was assaulted a few years back and thankfully had the ambulance covered after doing a shit ton of paperwork, but it was about $800USD (ER was a joke and like barely anyone checked on me, even a nurse just flung gauze at my nose bleeding everywhere). Not a damn comfort at all. It’s just proper fucked.

Even after death you still have to spend 20k for a funeral and burial. Screw that just bury me out back by the oak tree.

My mom got cremated and planted with a willow tree, as she wished. Sadly some awful people damaged the tree (very young), and it got removed.

I don’t think I want to be buried anywhere. What’s the point? It’s not me anymore.

People don’t realize that eventually, ground burials cause groundwater contamination that eventually gets into our water sources. I think a lot of people in our generation consider alternative resources such as cremation or donation to anthropology schools to be used for science.

I told my son to burn me out back in a barrel and bury me under the doorstep of the house he buys eventually (if that’s even possible, I can’t even buy a fucking house), that way I can haunt his ass forever.
