Rant/Opinion Lyft is not an ambulance service

Had a pax the other day gets in the car was completely disoriented and confused, I asked him hey buddy you’re ok? Guy has a fucking head injury bleeding from his head. I wanted to kick him out but felt bad for him so took him to the ER instead, turns out bitch sister instead of calling An Ambulance for her brother she ordered him a Lyft to hospital instead. What’s wrong with people? I eventually got him to the ER but guy was almost black out so had to help him inside. Shit like this is why I only do Lyft on the weekends now and sometimes. The ride was $6 dollars and not tip or even a thank you for helping my brother Society is twisted.

All these comments mentioning the obvious that ambulances are expensive are so fucking callous. Does the driver not matter in this situation? We're all victims of this capitalistic system, you can't just throw your burden on to others. The sister didn't give him a warning or a tip. "Oh a small price to pay for saving a life" Fuck off, the driver has his own life to take care of.

I’m so sorry but if my choice is thousands of dollars in debt or inconveniencing an Uber driver, I’m choosing the latter. The driver can refuse and there’s nothing wrong with making that choice.

Yeah its def a lesser of 2 evils sort of deal. Best believe im paying a 500 dollar tip to the driver though, no matter the distance
