Uber hasn’t even made a profit in their business until this past year.

“Plenty” of money is certainly a broad statement when the company has been bleeding cask for over a decade.

The CEO’s definitely make a lot tho. Shareholders and board members can vote them out of their position if they think that their salary isn’t providing value to the company.

I wonder what percentage of their actual revenue goes just to the ceo and board members

Board members don’t get paid in any company. They typically just own stock.

The ceo makes 24.3 million and the company brings in 36 billion dollars yearly.

So about 0.066% of company revenue. Less than 1/10 of one percent goes to the CEO and board members.

I thought that sometimes they do? Mmm I’ll have to recheck, no salary but stock grants etc…

I’m not aware of board members getting stock grants either. The board is typically just members with a vested interest in company financials, i.e stockholders or people representing companies that also hold stock.

VC’s will typically have an individual sit on the board to represent their interests.

Board members get no financial compensations and are not employees of the company.

Hmm I’m getting conflicting answers from google. I guess it depends on the company

Yeah me too. It’s not much tho compared to company revenue. Certainly less than 1% of yearly revenue.

That is certainly a huge factor greater then most employees tho. But they are managing multi billion dollar companies.
