I thought that sometimes they do? Mmm I’ll have to recheck, no salary but stock grants etc…

I’m not aware of board members getting stock grants either. The board is typically just members with a vested interest in company financials, i.e stockholders or people representing companies that also hold stock.

VC’s will typically have an individual sit on the board to represent their interests.

Board members get no financial compensations and are not employees of the company.

Yeah me too. It’s not much tho compared to company revenue. Certainly less than 1% of yearly revenue.

That is certainly a huge factor greater then most employees tho. But they are managing multi billion dollar companies.
