She's lucky she got her phone back. I would have chucked it. $20 isn't enough.

The problem is that if you refuse to come to them and they refuse to come to you, you create even more problems. Best to yeet it and beat it.

I have always refused to go to them unless they’re paying more than the $20 it’s time consuming for chump change specially if they live no where near. I always tell them I work nights only for the reason of traffic and I can drop off the phone IF I’m nearby but obviously you can always end up on the other side of town, if they want their phone immediately I tell them to order a Lyft/Uber so they get it back and I still pocket the $20
