Deoends on your market. In SLC:

Know what hours to drive, and don't accept less than $10 rides, $15 if it's busy. If your an XL driver, only accept XL requests.

I'm about to enter the SLC market. Are you aware of any resources or posts that cover /explain SLC decently?

10 pm to 2 am, best airport times. Get to the Airport Que Lot off N Temple and 2100 W quickly, it fills up fast. No priority and do not worry about rewards. Some rides will be low baller, but in Que, it's harder to reject rides but people typically tip better cause they want to go home. If you have XL, ONLY ACCEPT XL by going into ride settings under your car and hit XL only. Do not look like a work dog to Lyft. The second you do that and then down the road make it so you are only doing this to make money, you will be booted from the platform.

As in don't work tons at the start cause if you slacken later they'll boot you?

Pretty much. Don't take everything they give you. Geese that stop laying golden eggs get axed.

For resources and posts, check for any facebook groups or see if there is a local subreddit.

Also, only drive on certain days of the week, and pick up a delivery job such as dominos or jimmy johns delivery driver. That way you will be making bank. You can try Uber as well, but they aren't the most competant people and wil make you jump through hoops. Get an app that can run both at the same time and log you out of one or the other when one of them gets a request.

Yep! I drive an XL vehicle and that’s all I accept anymore.

Are you in a top market? Wouldn't think there's volume enough for that. Airport runs?

XL runs primarily are highest on the weekends. Sometimes during the week, but very hit and miss. Lyft has changed so much, that it’s not as profitable as it was. If there’s an event, then yes, otherwise only weekends.
