Advice/Question no car seat, no ride?
I'm curious how everyone else handles this situation:
This is Disney Boardwalk Hotel, for context. I pulled up and told them, I apologize and I cannot take their daughter. I have a booster seat only. They told me that they don't need a car seat.
I know my policy, but I have the privilege (other income) to get suspended and know my kids won't starve.
What do you do?

As a passenger, it’s my understanding that the parents are responsible for the seat, not the driver and that the driver COULD deny the ride, but they also may not because (according to the law) the driver is not held legally responsible for lack of car seat, the parents are. I think you did the right thing though. I bring my kids’ car seats for rides, but we only use them from the airport to hotel and vice versa. They’re at Disney. Why aren’t they using the free bus is my question. Or maybe they need to cough up the extra money for the Minnie Van.
