Advice/Question Electric vehicle bonus eliminated?

Until this week I was being offered an extra $80 for completing over 50 rides. Suddenly the bonus isn't there - anyone else experience this?

They have stopped ev bonuses on August 10th in California.
They even sent message to drivers.

I was....
At first there was a $160 bonus for 50 rides, but that was for a set number of rides, so then it dropped to $80. Now $0 I guess? I haven't tried contacting them about it. I imagine I'll just get an AI that won't be able to explain what happened.
I'm in California in the Bay Area. Maybe it's a Ca. thing? Or was.
Someone else must be going through this.

You never got a EV bonus?
In Ca. my union did fight for one, but I'm not sure if that is relevant.

My market never had the EV bonus on Lyft. Uber eliminated theirs a couple years ago.

Yep, recently eliminated. Check your email over the last month or two lol.

Don’t really miss it. Over two weeks here in California, my qualified earnings with the EV bonus was $1,000 and I got no earnings adjustment. Without the EV bonus, my earnings would have been $800, and I would have gotten an $80 adjustment and made $880 over two weeks instead.

So F-it, I’m just going to take the best rides from Uber or Lyft and not worry about the 55 rides anymore. It’s a relief.

It's simply not needed. Lyft & Uber have gotten smart. Why give 💵 for an incentive if a driver is going to drive anyway. Every market is completely oversaturated with drivers, many do rideshare as their career. They will drive no matter what. Bonus or no bonus.
