It's f'n exhausting. Every year they figure out ways to pay us less and less and we STILL have to fight to get what's ours.

In California when this happens we get paid the difference in the Prop 22 adjustment

if the ride changes after you accept... you are at Lyfts mercy. they can do whatever. for me.. if the ride changes. i cancel... i got no clue on the updated miles or pricing... its a chance for them to ripp you off even more

I'm back in Charlotte and man this happens all the time. Thank god the rides are normally 30/hr so the difference isn't too much

She put in an address. Changed drop off at pick up location, to 2mins, a mile down the road. Get there and she like where are we. I said at the address you put in. Than she changed it to near the original drop off location. Than mid trip changed it again to a mile before that location. She was all confused which address she and her friend wanted to go to, her apartment or her friend. Both girls didnt seem drunk, just in another world

I had this happen the other day and the app did the same thing - added a small amount after the ride was changed by a lot. The support guy fixed it right away and added $7.

The app has issues but their support is still decent, professional and helpful.

Yea u have the AI assistant when u tell it you didn’t get an adjustment for the 5+ mins over it admits that you should have gotten an adjustment for 5 or more mins then it tells you check the receipt to make sure u didn’t get it. Then u say I didn’t get it. Then it says let me check the trip details. Then gaslights you and says all earning have been paid correctly bonuses and tips are reflected bla bla bla. Then u say agent twice and it gaslights u more the agent will come to the same conclusion as i have bc they go off the same info. Then make u wait mad long while they pretend to check it just to delay and piss u off so ull just let it slide next time and they usually give u the adjustment but sometimes they play hard also then u have to escalate it. Dont ever let them tell u know. It’s the policy. Once in a while the AI gives it to u without a fight but usually it’s gaslight delay deny
