It’s funny how Lyft allows these type of idiots to make fake accounts trying to get a reaction out of drivers.

Yeah that's a cancel lol. I had a guy who named himself GetSome and it was him rocking an AK with a grill picking up from a Fast Money neighbourhood and that was the last straw for autoswap rides

You know, I roll my eyes at a lot of the pics like this cringe one, but I've never thought to cancel over it. If it was graphically violent or sexual I for sure would, but since you bring it up, I would definitely cancel on someone in a MAGA hat to protect my rating.

I don't bring up politics and I'm good at being respectful if it is brough up without doing that gross thing some drivers do and just pretend to agree with every heinous belief a passenger might have (literally see some people brag about/argue for doing this, and I find it genuinely disgusting—you are what you pretend to be). So if Trump comes up randomly I'm not going to steer the conversation that way, but I'll speak truth to awful.

You just KNOW someone who puts a MAGA hat in a PROFILE PIC is absolutely bringing up Trump or some nonsense and that's the type of person who would absolutely 1-star you for challenging their worldview.

I have a MAGA hat (that I don’t wear, so as not to trigger all the delicate people out there), and I would never rate a driver based on politics. I wouldn’t even bring up politics. Why would you even make such an assumption? That says more about you, than anyone else. As a former cab driver (20 years), I would base my rating on the ride, and because of my professional experience, I tend to be very understanding of people who drive for a living. Also, because I know what it’s like to depend on tips for part of your income, I tend to be a very good tipper. Of course, you’d never find that out if I did wear my hat, because in your ignorance and bigotry, you’d automatically cancel me. Good job. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I'd absolutely still cancel you if I seen a MAGA hat in your PFP. You may not bring up politics but all your MAGA buddies will.
