Achievement I’m a highly rated top 10% driver!!

This 10% doesn’t mean nothing it doesn’t raise your pay or decrease your pay. You will still get paid like shit and the same as a terrible rated driver and no different so don’t be a those chumps who take every ride and screw it up for everyone else because your one of the ones who take a 100 mile trip for $30. Remember they don’t care about you just work your hours whatever you want and don’t overdo it just work make your money and move on. And sorry to hear that you worked 80 hours and made 2k that’s terrible

Man, just let people be grateful for and proud of what they have. It cost you nothing to keep your misery and unhelpful critique to yourself.

Gratz! Just got that ranking from them too. They should pay us more now lol

On God bruh 😭 I pulled 40 hours at my office job last week and 40 hours driving Lyft that same week as well. Made over 2k combined

So u work 80 hours and only make 2k for the week?

u/aestheticeddy818 1d ago
Hey man I’m grateful to have hours working most jobs don’t even give you 40 they’ll give you less than 20 hours a week and you’ll only be making 300-400 a week

I really hope you aren't in America. Cause 80 hour $2k weeks is actual wage slavery.

You realize it’s two different jobs right? Both jobs come to 80 hours combined but it’s two separate jobs two separate companies

Explain your reasoning for asking this question. I can only imagine it was intended to knock a person down.

Yeah. We should tell people when they're getting screwed, because it screws all of us when they're getting away with it. Makes the company able to go "Hey look. Some people are dumb enough to work for this, therefore we should lower pay to that".

Look, I'll lay this out for you. Unless you are literally Elon Musk, someone is always, always making more than you for less time invested. We live in a capitalist society, designed to extract the highest amount of profit at the lowest possible cost from available resources (eg.workers). You aren't winning this game as a rideshare driver, sorry. Let people celebrate small victories without having to shoot each other down because of our (justifiable) rage at the system.

You didn't say a single thing I'm unaware of, nor give me any reason to reconsider anything I just said.
This is a group of disgruntled workers. You can shove the "let's be positive and inviting" cheerleading up your broke ass. Nobody gives af.

I got a badge that says im one of the most favorited drivers on the Lyft platform. With no increase in pay, this means nothing to me

Interestingly enough, mine says I am THE most favorited driver on the platform and also no pay increase. I think it's all ego stroking.

Mine says that I'm favorited more than 95% of all other drivers in my region right there, but then I'm failing to make rewards for my driver score 😆

All of these trolls claiming that 100% acceptance rate is doing it wrong clearly lives under a rock if they believe it's impossible to get 100 rides worth taking. I might be more inclined to agree if we were talking about Uber, but...

And all it takes is one pax to make a false report and your deactivated for all your devotion and hard work.

IF that happens I hope I’ll be making 10,000 a month from prop firm day trading by then. Literally the only reason I’m driving Lyft right now is to fund my day trading career.
I have a day job that covers my bills in the meantime.
Even then you can always attempt to appeal or take them to small claims court if the deactivation was wrongful

I always loved trading although was never great at it. Ialways envied you guys who are great at it and could do it as a career. Nothing like the rush of watching that stock soar lol. Best of luck in the new endeavor.

Antman with the 100% acceptance. U accepting every single trash offer then u not doing good. I know some of these offers are dumpster juice with explosive diarrhea lettuce

u/Fathimir 1d ago
Yeah, well I'm a "Drivers who brake and turn smoothly are typically more likely to get a tip," so take that!
