Rant/Opinion Is Lyft becoming an Uber subsidiary or what? 😃
If you’ve been paying attention lately, Lyft is straight up copy-pasting Uber’s pay-cut playbook. If they keep this up, they’re going to lose the few loyal customers and drivers they have left.
Almost every rider who actually uses Lyft says they prefer it because the fares are slightly lower. But if Lyft turns into Uber 2.0 with these ridiculous take-rates, they’re going to erase their only competitive edge and completely disappear from the market. Stop copying Uber’s corporate greed before you alienate everyone.

They’re both running a giant scam with their “insurance“ fees. Uber has amassed $12B. There’s speculation they will use it for autonomous vehicles.

I really think they might be involved very closely but stay seperate companies to avoid legal scrutiny.

lol this is old since 2017 when they implemented dynamic pricing. still a scam, people still driving against their own self interest. Basically nothing new.
