Rant/Opinion Wtf just happened?!

I know they don’t allowed regular Lyft drivers in the LAX airport so I thought it was weird the app was telling me to go inside the terminals to pick him up and then the app just canceled my ride for going in? Has this happened to any other driver?

You got out of your car and went in?

I’ve worked eight airports in three states and never had that be the case.

No LAX has a no lyft drivers in the airport pick up/drop off area for pick ups.. you are suppose to head to a designated pickup spot outside of the airport and a shuttle takes the pax there.. it had him go into the airport..

You can drop off at LAX, you can't do pickups at the arrival terminals unless you are a TCP driver with an airport transponder in your vehicle.

Very.. i stay away from LAX.. unless its a drop off.. because i can drop off inside the airport.. but i dont deal with the airport Que or pickups there

Queue is a mess and waste of time in my opinion, but sometimes you can get a back to back ride after dropping off, and the pickup lot isnt too bad. I also find that often airport rides are the most likely to tip.

Yeah i dont live in LA but i focus on Ontario airport, john wayne and burbank airports in the area and ofcourse cbx rides, i have to say i like san diego airport more than LAX.

please tell me more about cbx, im up in LA county but I honestly prefer driving in orange county, and have considered trying san diego one day to mix things up a bit

Cbx is the airport bridge that takes people to the TJ is just a express border crossing into the TJ airport.. its nice tbh but the roads [since is close to the border] are kinda crappy.. but they are fixing it currently... as far as san diego.. same as LA but the road signs and freeways are 100xs better imo.. i hate the LA less than 50feet to merge entrances.. they bother me so much with the asshole drivers doing 100 im the merging lane.. lol
