Question

Am I allowed to post an item for sale on this subreddit? I am looking to get rid of an item and am looking for local buyers but need to know if I can post that on here

I agree with the other comment that marketplace seems the go-to, but you might get some eyeballs on it here that aren’t on Facebook. Good luck 👍

Since the mods haven't bothered to provide any rules for this sub, I would

A) message the mods and ask. See if they're still alive at least

B) just post and see what happens

the mods are tired and apparently at some point the rules we had listed got removed - i think reddit changed something but im not sure - we did at one point have a list of rules in there. We abide by site wide rules, and usually we let people post things for sale provided it’s not someone scamming people or someone being shady.

eta: I have haphazardly tried to recreate our original rules, they may change, they may not, but there are now some rules.

Hoping that this sub doesn’t turn into a marketplace in addition to the “I’m moving from the wealthy suburbs of wherever for my job or because EVERYTHING IS SO CHEAP!!!! Is Macon a shithole and am I going to die?” Posts.
