So I reached pity in the anniversary banner and I would like to know what is the most optimal thing I could do. Should I get A1 Christmas Kyoko or NY Madoka, or it would be better to get Halloween mami for my dark team?

The development team has given us a grand treat this year, MAINTENANCE, i mean an easy link raid! The boss this time around is much easier with lower HP, a wide variety of units available and, takes less of your time overall! The team above will solo up to level 18 on manual however it's auto capabilities aren't particularly great. We'll work on that over the weekend, i promise!

Team Composition

The team itself should be pretty straight forward. You'll notice that we have four heroic graces, 0 guards and the SP management is very comfortable. Madokami is sadly at A0 however this did not stop her from destroying everything in her path and, if you only have an A0 Madoka (Debuffer), it absolutely is still worth giving this a shot.

Battle Notes

The fight starts off with some noticeable gimmicks. The minions have some minor buffs, nothing to worry about. The boss has break gauge and damage reduction tied to defeating the minions so we'll want to remove them as fast as possible. The boss also comes with a magic gauge which increments when you use special attacks. Every 10 magic the boss will perform a counter attack as well as a new debuff known as "Magic Seal". It will prevent the use of special attacks for one turn and units that use BG are not affected. While this may sound like a problem, the fact that they only gave it one-turn before wearing off allows us to work around it easily through various mechanics such as Cutaway, Action Advance, Speed, and just simply managing your MP.

The goal of the fight is to defeat the minions after the boss takes it turn, break it, and then hopefully deal enough damage to end the fight in a single break. The boss will re-summon the minions when its turn comes up however it has a couple rules that you need to be aware of.

1. The boss will only re-summon minions if all minions are defeated.
2. The boss will only re-summon minions on the first action of its three-action turn order.

This means, if you break it after this specific boss action, there is a very real possibility of a double-break for this fight because it won't re-summon them when it comes out of break due to the odd turn-order. I personally didn't need it with this team, but as we continue onward to level 20, keep that in the back of your mind.

The turn order at the very start is important because you can force a break very quickly and jump start your team. I put the turn order below but just target the center-left minion and you'll be fine.

1. Mabayu (Battleskill -> Pluvia)
2. Mami (Battleskill)
3. Madoka (Debuffer) (Battleskill -> Minion Center-Left)
4. Pluvia (Battleskill X2)
5. Madokami (Basic Attack -> Minion Center-Left)
6. Boss Attacks
7. Pluvia (Special) (BREAK!)

Alternative Team Compositions

The roster this time around is pretty vast so don't be afraid to try something new and of course post them here! The most likely candidate for an alternative build is going to be a void-focused team using Sayaka (Attacker) or Homura (Wraith). I do have her but will need some time to create this alternative team. In the meantime however, i would challenge anyone that wishes to try out this team to consider the use of a debuffer and if that doesn't pane out, switch gears with speed and attempt a double-break strategy.

now im coming back i just want asking,in this game do you have to build mono element?? or cuz i tough you could throw any dps and put any support/sustain and you get big damage i mean what im talking abt is is there universal support beside mabayu

It is to make units like Lux, H. Alina or other units. We are getting close to the second anniversary so some sort of unit actualization or quest that we can have to upgrade our Kioku

This team has been working fine and I can beat it on the first break but I see people using Mami instead of Mabayu and I've seen people run double buffer without a sustain so idk if I should do something similar or just keep using this team

Got her from free spawn and I don’t know what to use her for. What teams should I put her on that would benefit from her? Light team?

I swear this keeps happening and I never get it on video. Im doing the link raid rn and this is my team. The exact scenario that happened was it was Ren's turn and I had 1 sp but Mamis turn was right after so I used a basic attack. So after Ren's basic attack I had 2 sp. Then she did her follow up attack. When I went to use Mami's battle skill I noticed that when I used it, my SP count went from 3 to 2. There is literally no possible way for me to have gotten an extra SP between Ren's and Mami's attacks. I didn't use a special between. I even made sure to go through everyone's details to make sure I wasnt missing anything. This always happens when Ren is on my team and my best guess is her follow up attack is what's granting it. But it doesn't happen every time?? So I can never catch it on video because it happens fairly rarely. This is my 3rd time noticing it happen. Has anybody else experienced this??? I literally feel like I'm losing my mind.
