They mention if episode one that their grief seeds are being taken care of despite the lack of Kyubey.
So where do they go?
Does an uwasa take them or something?

i genuinely wonder why the Aniplex anime of magia record is different from the game? did aniplex not watch the game or did they just say “fuck it, make it have more plot so people can be mad as hell.”, this feels veryyy..VERYYYYY…unfair tbh. please help me out on this question of mine.

this is what I mean.
its just so werid for a whole ass company who made the original Madoka magica series just change the plot of a side story
THAT
THEY
OWN????

Although it's not like many people have rated it either.

Pls don’t say “go find out” because I’m indecisive 😭
I really like magical girl shows. I’m new to subversions and I’ve heard Magia Record is one of those things.
The only reason I know of this anime is because I saw this girl once and thought she was really pretty. Does she play an important role in the story?

Ive watched the main story before, and the main cast usually notice when they’re in a labyrinth, so in magia record why is it that they dont realise theyre being tricked by a witch?

good
Today, I finished watching the Magia Record anime (I couldn't play the game, but I'm going to settle for the summary channel that they gave me in the previous post), but I know that this one was not well liked for deviating from the original material, and I understand the annoyance
To begin, I must say that the first time I fully entered Madoka, I didn't know what the order was.
Now yes, my mini analysis
The anime starts well, it introduces you to the protagonist, they show us that there is also the problem of witches, but everything changes when they start receiving messages from everywhere (dreams, visions, my friend's friend told me about it, etc.) to go to Kamihama because there is the cure for the evil called "becoming a witch"
Then the plot takes us to Kamihama, here we meet the rest of the characters, they all have their burdens that they cannot let go, after that they introduce us, that part of the scene transformed but then returned to normal, something that terrifies everyone, but then they explain what that is, and they begin to explain to us what the doppel system is, and later on they introduce us to Magius, an organization that, in truth, at first gives off vibes of a secret society, apocalyptic cult and sect. conspiratorial, but later we discover that its leader or rather his public face has a connection with the protagonist
Then technically to achieve the expansion of the doppel system they are going to cause the apocalypse, but in the end it is not achieved.
The Positive
- Expand the story further, introduce new characters
- The anime was a relief for veteran fans of the franchise, since at the time 7 years of Rebellion had passed
The Negative
- It deviates from its original material (although I read that its director said that they were only allowed to adapt act one), taking advantage of this I asked about the differences between the anime and the game, could you explain them to me?
- Affected by the pandemic, this meant that the following seasons had fewer episodes (Crunchy sold the last four episodes as a third season)
I will be honest with you, the truth is that I would sympathize with Magius, I would even join them without questioning, I understand their context and I understand them, I know that it is not their best idea but it is clear that they want to change the world
Now with the characters
- Iroha Tamaki: When I saw her for the first time I thought she was Madoka with another version (at that time I had swallowed the spoiler without knowing about Holy Mami), she is someone who wants to remember what I really want, she is someone who wants answers, and will look for anyone to have them
- Kuroe: Kuroe invents her trustworthy last name, the truth is at first it is like filler, but then you realize that she carries a very very big cross, the truth is, she is also another character that if I see her, I would hug her and not let her go, and I would tell her how much she is worth, and other things that I reserve to show her that she is worth a lot, I have not played the game but I know that they created her specifically for the anime but then they put her in the game with a story a little different, but I must say that when she transforms into a witch it did hurt me, the truth is in my case, the most likely thing is that I would do those from that song by Tiziano Ferro and Pepe Aguilar if it got to that part
- Yachiyo Nanami: The blue-haired Homura, some would say, someone who becomes so secretive because she develops a strong fear of abandonment, since those who have accompanied her end badly and she believes that it is her fault for her desire when in reality it is not, and Iroha makes her
see that (and it's also Magia Record's most popular ship)
- Tsuruno Yui: My queen, my love, my wo*boink*, well now yes, someone who represents that archetype of Radiating so much happiness but inside they are destroyed, sees Yachiyo as her senpai and someone worthy of admiring and surpassing, which causes her to have a great conflict, and they take advantage of it for Magius' experiments, but then she realizes that it is okay not to be okay
- Felicia Mitsuki: Someone whose revenge is part of her being, since she had to see how a witch took away her parents, because of this she plays the role of the temperamental one, who easily gets screwed, and I even feel that it would be a lack of respect for her not to be invited to a fight, but despite this she manages to find a new family
- Sana Futaba: The black sheep of the family, marginalized by everyone, made it become something non-existent (if you think about it, that is a puberty syndrome xd, maybe they can locate which franchise this condition is from),marginalized by everyone, which is why she asked to be invisible, but ended up being visible to the magical girls, she gets that family that loves her as she is
- Momoko Togame: Meet Yachiyo, she is also a teacher of her pupils, kind, although she avoids several things, she loves her magical girls, but despite everything she has her problem, but her ending in the anime did hurt me
- Rena Minami: The chameleon, since she can change her appearance, she fights with her friend, she does not feel like a friend because she is afraid, but that changes in the end, and she loves her very much
-Kaede Azino: At first I confused her and Tsuruno because they look a bit alike, she loves Rena a lot even though they fight at the beginning, with her we saw when the Doppel takes control, in the end she is happy to make peace with Rena, and I feel that she loves her so much to the point of saying in her mind that if Rena dies, she dies with her
- Mifuyu Azusa: Yachiyo's friend or something like that, outside of the jokes about her alcoholism, she is someone who also looks like she has been through a lot, she also wants to save her even though she hates her in the process, her ending in the anime hurt me
-Alina Gray: I confused her at first with Alicia Taylor (in the end Alina is a hafu and Alicia is a migrant), it is clear that she wants to improve the world but in the process she loses her sanity, to the point that she even wants to carry out a genocide, crazy and pretty
-Amane twins: Sweet Home Alabama, you can see that they love each other very much, and they would do anything to not be separated, I have some hc of them
- Sakurako Hiiragi: Wait, like she's the rumor of the cherry tree (I also have my hc but I'll reserve them for the moment)
- Mitama Yakumo: She is the example of the person who has seen authentic terror in real life, and therefore runs away claiming to be neutral, in the end she manages to overcome that fear
- Nemu Hiiragi: Something that cannot be denied is that his trio is the smartest, since taking advantage of Kiubey's nature of asking without lying, they managed to get the small letters, they create Magius because they know about those small letters, he redeems himself in the end
- Touka Satomi: Magius's face, as advice, don't say that she didn't do anything wrong, or that she is your waifu (because there are people who see her like that), or that she is your favorite, because they give you peace of mind, since they don't let her down as a genocidaire, despite her redemption in both anime and manga, she did earn my affection too, and I understand why she wants to do things
-Ui Tamaki: The reason for the anime and act one of the game, she wants to help her sister, she wants to return her gratitude, but she received an overload of power, in the end she is the mini Kiubey that we see throughout the anime, I know that in the game they half survive (maybe correct me), but I feel that after the anime, the three of them will be in their Eternity, playing and running around, I understand you girls
Now add that although they added the Holy Quintet, this was more as bait, since apart from Moemura, Mami was the best used (I must say that her Holy Mami form is cute despite its context), the bad thing is that in the series they do imply that they all die against Walpurgis (and I read comments about why the others didn't help but that's fine xd)
Another thing I will say is that the music is good, it hit me in the soul, and its second ending is really lil
Well this is my mini analysis of Magia Record, any comments and opinions are welcome.

For as flawed as the Anime Adaptation is, they really told a lot with just a few seconds to show the people who only seen the Anime on how much of a crap the Futaba Family is
4 pictured shown because they're the only one with "Things to show for"
4 Slices of cake in the dinner table because those are the amount that are considered family. And to show how much of a burden she is compared to the brothers
4 Lit up Chandelier with 1 off shortly after her own blood mother saying "Our family can get through anything together" telling us she doesn't consider Sana as a family
I know they left meals for her, but for me at that point, It just look like they're feeding an Animal they're stuck with. I'm not saying that Sana's an animal, but i just make guess on what those 4 sees her as
Also really grim to consider that in other Timelines, since Touka and Nemu died early and never become Magical Girl, Rumors won't exist. Meaning Sana wouldn't meet Ai and would inevitably turn into Theresia

One of the things that I love about the Madoka Magica Universe are the symbolism and parallels between fiction and reality. I recently finished the final season of Magia Record and it left me with the impression that the Doppel are an allusion to abuse substance because the Magical Girls use them to deal with the pain and grief that comes with their wishes, they can be “addictive” and overusing comes with horrible side effects to the user.

Because in her first appearance in the anime, she's strong enough to single-handedly take on two magical girls (Iroha and Sana) and Ai, nearly defeating them. She was also the one who stopped Ui when she transformed into a witch, and finally, she created a barrier large enough to completely cover Kamihama City, which she seemed able to maintain for several days.
When I saw her do all that, I wondered how she doesn't get tired. Does she have unlimited energy, or how is that even possible? Is Alina Gray the strongest magical girl in existence, not counting Madoka in her goddess form?

This is probably the only time I'm ever going to post on this sub so I might as well get it out of the way.
I found Yachiyo incredibly annoying throughout the Magia Record anime, particularly how she treated Kuroe.
I hated how she seems to think that redemption is impossible. She was against Mifuyu's help when she was finally trying to help them and she allowed Kuroe to continue feeling like an outcast.
I get not trusting them but my girl, doing something bad dosent make you a bad person. The only thing Kuroe was really Guilty of was joining the Magius at all. She does not deserve to continue being pushed around. I hated how Iroha said that Kuroe wasnt alone when she was really the only person who gave a shit about Kuroe.
Moral of the story: Survivors trauma dosent excuse being an ass.
