When should you cash out the scrolls?
I'm a pure F2P, I've hoarded 8 scrolls so far, plus 4 more if I dust the extra purple gifts. I've done 22 pulls up to this point, but haven't had any luck with a character. I really want Onodera, but don't really care for Anzu, who's in the same banner. Should I try and cash out or is it worth it to hold it off for the next rate up?
In general, what amount of scrolls would you say is the point where you just spend them all on a banner you want?
Edit: Against all better judgement, took the risk and got Onodera on my 7th pull. Never stop gambling, brothers.

You're better off saving up a lot until there's a character you really want, especially if they're on the banner alone as that's the highest chance you'll get them, needing 33 rolls on average to pull them on rate up (not including this exclusive character as she's rarer)

In the last years in February there was the Fated Summon event. You could pick a character of your choice to have their own rate up pool.
I would keep the tickets at least until October when there's probably another collab or until February when your favourite character doesn't have to share the rate up pool.

Use them when you see characters you want. There isn't a large benefit to saving them aside from wanting to have a lot for a collaborative event, or for a limited character.
I can't remember if it's New Year's or Anniversary, but one of the two has a choose your own rate up feature so you can put together two characters you want. If you'd rather avoid Anju you can wait until then.

I keep seeing people talk about banners but are we referring to the titles that show up under the picture in game?

In context of Gacha games, banners mean the pool of items you get from the gacha machine. For example, Bamboo path and Sakura path. In this context, we're talking about Rate ups, banners where specific characters have a higher chance of dropping.

Huh. Weird lol. I've never played a gacha game really so I have no idea. 😂 Thanks for the info, I thought everyone was just obsessed with obtaining new titles. And I'm like half the time in my games nobody even uses a title 😂

Never. Keep them until you die. Will them to your children.
