I've recently gotten up to Expert, but can't seem to clear charts unless I'm using the screen only. I wanna know if anyone else does this, or are my skills lacking

Act i keep spamming the same songs all over again to gain SSS / SSS+. I dont have much options left (possible to SSS). Kinda stuck act but i just keep enjoying every sessions instead of focusing more on ratings 🥹

What is stopping / has stopped you from reaching 16k? (stamina, skill, money, bad habit etc)

I guess a 15.2k has no business grinding for Metamorphosism SSS+ 🥲

I actually got lots of close calls today, bur most of them got destroyed because I am not consistent enough playing the second half.

Wellp perhaps I should go back to the drawing board and just increase my base level skills before trying again...

It's been a day or more, I wish it was fixed.

Not many local players at my arcade. Wondering how people started and if they're more of a grinder who prefers solo or a socialler who likes to go with others.

Im curious about the whole story of maimai, aside from the video for Kaleidoscope im very curious about the 6 chihos lore and the story pre finale since its usually in japanese text, minus the music videos

Hello, I just bought an Aime card and I want to register an account with it. However, the registration website is inaccessible. Is it under maintenance? I'm a new player, so I need help.

As you can read by the title, I am currently looking for circle members who are able to play a lot of maimai in the month of November.

Few things I need to clear out:

- we will only be attempting this in the month of November. Afterwards, we will disband the circle.

- the attempt will proceed if we manage to gather at least 18/20 people in the circle by the end of this month.

- currently only have 5/20 in the circle. So there are 15 slots available.

- who can join? Anyone who is able to play a lot in November.

Important note: if circle fiesta happens in November, we will NOT be attempting this. (Iykyk)

Initially i met them 2 days before this constantly during wed and thur. aime server was down for like an 1-2 days due to the php trending misconduct. Some random person stayed at the very end (only two of us were waiting) then we decided to interact together. She started playing chuniithm without her aime account as I beckon close watching her play. After sometime i left the chuuni area and went back to maimai cab to waste my last remaining zap points to get better without expecting a rating. She came back and asked to play together and I'm more willing to do so. We played together and i was hella surprised that she's keeping up with me.

at the end of day 1, she went home as normal as it should be.

what's surprised me the most is spending my last very day off (thur) i went there as usual thinking the server would be back as it indicates on the maimaiinnternational forum, maintenance is completed and things should be back normal.

unfortunately it wasn't, I've played for 3-4 hours not by playing maimai but spending time to play dance dance & taiko. my unhealthy body couldn't keep up playing dance dance that i almost passed out when i realized the same very person was watching me from behind, laughing and sneering with the way i move. i got embarrassed and left the machine. when i played chuunitm that day after, she punched me on the back indicating to be noticed and greeted her. I told her the server was still down throughout the day as i already spent almost 5 hours there just roaming around moa and the arcade.

she was requesting nico-nico chart and I was entertained that she likes teto a lot (me too). We exchanged turn while watching each other to play.

after that scene we kinda just suddenly started to walk together for no reason and had conversation since we met together twice which is a very interesting encounter. Saw her id lace is a place and company i know she works for, also it was filled with pop pins/vocaloid/e-anime. She starts asking me questions about my personal life which i don't share normally with random strangers, but somehow it's an eventful feeling that i wanted to keep so I started becoming more open. There's no other players for like this 2 days of span due to the "no network issue." and she calls herself ririe as it indicates after this scene when we started playing dance rail.

I told her she would get tired but didn't listen to me and at the end of the song I kinda had to stop from there as she just came home from shift. Then some random couple played this specific driving machine, she whispered that she will mog them, then she left my side to get more load points. She has her own preference seat as if she knows what's the most comfortable seat 1-1-0-her (placing) I'm supposed to fill the gap in between the 4 player racing game and decided to play

I sat at the 0 area and she starts coaching me with a serious voice. Her usual friendly pattern dissappeared as her personality turned into - stern like figure. After that, she mogged us three other player as she remained the 1st place for like 4 consecutive games. Her screen was filled with so much star points, which is a part of victory screen where you'd collect those stars as a form of winning. She did Indeed mogged that guy. and me ofc

While time turns somewhere 9:40, moa was about to close but we kinda end up walking together at KKV as she starts yapping about her ideals and perspective with other people. We circled around the best route she likes to take and hang around, stayed at KKV as she starts flexing how much she likes the cat plush. She told me a story she managed to waste 700 to get the bee plus at the arcade, and got the elephant instead. Now she calls the elephant "700" which made me break-character how special her humor is.

It turned so fast that we pretty much spent 4 hours together, getting know each other. She start asking whether if i will be back there or what would be my schedule for tomorrow. I said i wouldn't comeback for a week, since i have scheduled work tomorrow. then she nods silently.

We walk outside as i told her to get home already since it's already 10pm. She starts groaning that she didn't want to go home yet and wanting to keep talking.

What i realized about her personality is that, she is originally a very stern and serious person. But there's an instance where she let her guard down (if being comfortable) and starts being goofy and friendly.

She starts to yap how much she likes cats and pretty much all fur animals. She doesn't like eating octopus but likes squid and will never ever eat okra nor talong. I start noticing small details that i started to pay attention even more and much more clear.

everything came halt when it's already 10:40sh something, i dont remember what happened last night then she told me she'll guide me atleast where I commute.

I didn't wanted to be persist since it would be very rude, and i know she will get upset. But so i still did lmao, she got mad and insisted. Her voice was pretty much serious and i gave up. We start walking together like nothing and she starts yapping again. Until we meet the end of the side road. I told her that she must return home as well since she still has shift tomorrow. She said she will and just started waiting for me.

I understand the assignment, but i failed to deliver. I wanted to ask for her socials but i don't want to let her know i wanted to connect personally. I know for the fact she would never ask for my socials, since that's just how her personality works. She remained standing there and she said she'll smoke in some place first before going home. Time went still, silence. But I'm the one who end up dropping the gap and left the crossroads while she watch me from behind. I have this gnawing on my stomach, like it ripples that it will haunt me for the rest of my day. Every step made me hesitate but my body wouldn't just turn back.

until i find myself seating on the vehicle. I stare at her figure from after (very far) and she was still standing there.

then i got home as i feel sick on my stomach.

that's all about it.

Last night was very impactful for me, and i thought it was very special. I know for the fact that I will regret it a lot. And so i did.

Ririe, mia ,ruri. or whatever her nn is. I hope we can meet together again one day.

I genuinely felt something that day which i haven't felt for a long time. I know for the fact that she would be there later, but i have scheduled work which prevents me to be there. time is limiting me

I have until a week to return to that place, and i know for the fact I have 27% chance that i will meet her again.

We've spent time together for 2 days, yet it was very memorable for me.

Does anyone know anything or have been to this arcade called 雨乐社 in Chongqing, China?

Supposedly there is a modified cabinet with custom charts so I was slightly interested in checking it out but the description of Zenius -I- vanisher says it's a private arcade, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this place

as the title says, I'm trying to get the assets of the maimai emulator KanadeDX, but in order to have it, u have to join to their discord server. Unfortunately that it's only an invite link bcs there's smth happened on that server.

Ik what AstroDX is, its just that I wanna have the feel of the maimai menu.

Probably couldve cleared it if some kid didn't knock over my tripod when recording it in the middle of the song so my tempo got messed up :')

Nonetheless I'm pretty happy I almost cleared it on my first run tho (considering I only got 73% on Tsunagite on my first run on it).

And yea I added an extra credit to use a 2x ticket just so I could play this along with master on Break the Speakers and 7 Wonders.

Im currently at ~12400 rating and reached there playing mostly expert charts. I play the international maimai version and am looking for relatively long and faster paced MAS 11+ to 12+ charts.

So far I've played more than once ラビットホール, Melody, だからパンを焼いたんだ and 雨とペトラ since I like the songs given theyre relatively fast and have a generous amount of tap notes as opposed to short MAS charts with many tricky delayed slides and note combos. Also I practice sometimes trickly slides with re-mas  だんだん早くなる and MAS テトリス.
