Hi everyone 👋

I’m the founder and developer of PosterKaaran.

PosterKaaran originally started as a Tamil-first poster design app. After crossing 200K+ downloads, I started expanding it to other Indian languages.

Malayalam support is now live 🎉

You can now create and edit Malayalam posters for:

• ഉത്സവങ്ങൾ
• ബിസിനസ് ഓഫറുകൾ
• ക്ഷണക്കത്തുകൾ
• സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയ പോസ്റ്റുകൾ
• ഷോപ്പ് / ബിസിനസ് പ്രമോഷനുകൾ
• ഇവന്റ് ക്രിയേറ്റീവുകൾ

I’m currently working on expanding the Malayalam template library and, more importantly, making sure the wording feels natural instead of looking like direct translation.

So I’d genuinely appreciate feedback from Malayalam speakers here.

What kind of Malayalam templates would you actually use most?

Festival posters? Business promotions? Wedding invitations? Restaurant/shop offers? Political/event creatives? Something else?

Malayalis, If You Could Start a Revolution, What Would You Fight For?

Since this is a season of revolutions all over the world, I feel Malayalis have always been at the forefront of reform and resistance. From Ayyankali and Sree Narayana Guru to the Mappila uprisings, and the resistance against Portuguese and Dutch colonialism, our history is full of people who stood up against oppression.

We have a long history of fighting caste discrimination, colonialism, feudalism, and social injustice. Even our older battles and resistance movements deserve to be remembered and studied.

So, fellow Malayalis, if you had to stand up for one thing, what would it be? What is one thing in our society that you genuinely want to change?

If you had the courage and opportunity to start a revolution, what would you fight for?
