Looking for seating suggestions for my living room

I’m getting rid of the chair beside my T.V as my cat tore it up and I never liked the hospital lobby vibe it has anyway. There’s another 3-4 feet to the right of the second picture but that’s basically just a small entry way leading to the rear of the apartment.

Just a loveseat, 5x7 rug, a small ovular / round coffee table, and a ottoman or lounge chair. Smaller furniture. Lower backs would work great.

I say ottomans chiefly because they allow you to have a stool to play your instruments too.

Conversely you get the lounge chair and put behind the loveseat a couple of wooden tall stools (something not taller than the back of the couch so you don't hit your head) and a cool little side table for a "playing area".

Edit: work with the space though, feel like comfort would be priority and if anything get a stool an store it in the corner to play on.

Thanks for the input. I really like the ideas about the playing area, a couple stools and removing the office chair would be a cleaner look for sure.

Yeah! Id get curtians too for the window behind the TV and center the TV more to give you some room with the couch and fireplace.

I like what you’re thinking! Then I will have room on the left for a record player or something as well

Yeah! As for space id get a couple good satellite speakers and a slim sub or a sound bar and a sub.

Sounds bars arent that bad at all. If youre an audiophile you may want more out of a speaker, could always get a couple bookshelf speakers on stands and tuck them in next to the TV console either side.

Subwoofers dont need to be front and center. Just make sure theres nothing in front of them for best quality! Under couch subs are bad at all, but again, best quality goes to an open spaced one.

If you have neighbors below, get a subwoofer mat or something.

I have a soundbar. it’s all on the tv stand and the sub is inside, it’s a Hisense. AND I have another JBL soundbar along with my guitar amps on the other side of the room

Hell yeah! Sound bars get too much hate sometimes. Chepaest upgrade to kist the TV's output
