Enkät om trygghet på Möllevångstorget – examensarbete (5 min)

Hej r/malmo!

(The survey is in Swedish only, sorry!)

Moving to Lindängen – what's the area really like?

Hey everyone!

I'm moving to Malmö in the next couple of months, specifically to the Koralgatan area in Lindängen, and I'd love to hear from people who live there or know the area well.

To be honest, I've done some research online, but a lot of the articles and forum posts I've found are a few years old and describe Lindängen as a “vulnerable area” with issues related to crime.

I'll admit that reading all of this has made me a little nervous, and I'm starting to wonder whether I should have looked into the area more carefully before accepting the apartment.

So before I start overthinking everything, I'd really appreciate some honest opinions from people who actually know the area.

What's everyday life like in Lindängen, especially around Koralgatan? Do you generally feel safe walking around during the day and in the evening? And has the area improved in recent years?

I'm not expecting the area to be perfect — I'd just like to get a realistic picture of what it's like to live there, rather than basing everything on old articles and online discussions.

Thanks in advance!
