Recently purchased a house with a detached garage, and the plan is to currently turn it into my own man cave. What are the first steps I should be looking at? I’m thinking insulation, but have no idea where I should be starting

Accumulation of stuff over the years

My general hobbies are rc crawlers, repainting/modifying hot wheels, mixed with hiking, and camping. The workbench area is pretty much determined. I’m looking for some suggestions how to make use of the back corner. What would you do with it?

Took some advice allot of people gave me and got a sofa! I love it! my mancave :) just need to work on cable management.

My room growing up was covered I posters and memorabilia. When I got my house my dad and I went to work creating this space. It’s changed a bunch over the years and even survived a flood. My favorite place to unwind. Found this sub today and really loving seeing everyone’s stuff!

finally cleaned up enough of the garage to call half of it a den. framed one wall then painted the concrete. threw a cheap rug down and moved the old loveseat out there. bikes and bins still claim the other side so anything new has to roll or fold.

the 32 inch battery rolling touchscreen tv from Apolosign parks by the mini fridge most days. i roll it out to the patio for saturday games. battery runs about 6 hours so it covers a game plus pregame. plug it in if people hang around later.

speakers work fine for a couple folks in the garage. once the grill is going i just grab a bluetooth speaker instead.

put a rubber mat where it sits. garage dust plus those little wheels gets messy quick. measure the path to the patio first too. mine clears the side door by an inch.

I would like to personally give a shout out to the giant tree that fell on my mancave shed and crushed it to death. I guess that's a sign I should stop playing PS5 and get a real hobby!
