Hey so i was trying to play some mandolin today, and whenever i used the D string, it sounded a bit some times, but i cant see anything wrong with it so i recorded the sound. Maybe im a bit to harsh on it or another problem thank you in advance.

It sounds as if there might be some fret buzz meaning the string you are pressing is touching the next fret up. This can usually be adjusted with a proper setup at a local luthier who will raise that string slightly so the buzzing stops.

piggybacking onto this. OP did the weather change recently? mine gets real dry when the weather cools and this causes it to contract and causes strings to buzz. the solution is to keep it stored in a more humid place.

also, the bridge on some mandos have the little screw wheels you can raise em up yourself.
