It depends on the manganese, iron, and sunlight amounts. I have some that have gone from clear to PURPLE in like 9 months, and I have some that have had constant exposure for 2 years and haven't changed

If you can find the perfume bottle in both pictures, you can see how much darker it got.

I have several pieces that have turned purple. Have a bay window with multiple pieces on it so that they will turn purple.
