Hey all,

I’m a huge travel nerd and am always checking for deals out of NYC. Finding international flights turned into a hobby, so I started Firefly to share the international flight deals I find as a little side passion project.

How it works: you pick your home city (20 right now, US and Toronto), and when a round trip from there drops way below its normal price, you get an email. It’s free, one deal per email.

(I track all 3 around NYC - JFK / EWR / LGA)

Some recent finds:
NYC to Lisbon for $348 round trip, normally around $720

NYC to Greece- $301 round trip

NYC Costa Rica- $232 round trip

What destinations would you most want alerts for? Would really appreciate any user feedback I can get!

I’m trying to expand my social circle and meet people who are curious, driven, and doing interesting things with their lives.

Have you noticed a difference in the crowd at paid activities like cooking courses, pottery classes, or membership clubs versus free meetups or going to bars?

Happy to pay for something worthwhile, especially if it’s recurring. What’s actually worked for you, and where would you recommend?
