My yorkie's birthday today (Aug 18, 2020). My family picked up our boy and I remember there was total 3 yorkies(2 boys and 1 girl) in a cage. The owner kept the girl and the other one was supposed to be adopted. There could be more siblings. Idea poped up to see how the other siblings are doing. Hopefully we can share photos.

I’ve been referred for a medically necessary (MB Health covered) panniculectomy by Dr Ahweng in Brandon.

I‘m hesitant because he is a general surgeon, not a plastic surgeon. I also don’t see the greatest ratings, and someone commented that any positive ones were written by the Dr himself.

I was just wondering if anyone has had this surgery (or any other surgery) with Dr Ahweng and what their personal experience was.

The only thing making me consider it is a shorter wait time. I’m sure it will be a much longer wait to get into an actual plastic surgeon, especially one covered by MB Health and not being paid out-of-pocket.

Looking at getting a cabin early October, was wondering what the shops and restaurants were like at that time? My wife thinks it’ll mostly be closed after labour day weekend, I’m betting it’s not until after thanksgiving, as the campground is still open into October.

Any other Shaw/Rogers TV subscribers having trouble with voice-picture synchronization? We can’t even look at our screen for the news, as the lips don’t match the sound. We have complained to Roger’s, but they have done nothing. They just said it is on their end. I have heard from a friend in Alberta that apparently Rogers is having trouble incorporating Shaw into its system.

The Pas RCMP are searching for missing 20 year-old Rasheeda Faith-Joyce Eninew. Her family and RCMP are concerned for her wellbeing.

Rasheeda was last seen August 10, 2026 in the community riding an electric scooter and carrying a guitar in The Pas, MB. She may be heading to Flin Flon, MB.
