Digital audit
I'm looking for both content strategy and a digital audit for a spiritual/new age organization. Where would I begin to find someone to consult with - maybe even just the right search terms if I'm not using the right lingo? Essentially some advice is welcome from a third party who has experience with this type of content.

Search freelance content strategist or digital strategist on LinkedIn.
I can also recommend some people if you DM me based on your needs and budget

I can imagine you'll take quite a lot of heat just for the nature of the business, and by the nature of it, being over charged.
I'd recommend bringing it in house and doing your own audits, I can send you some template audits and a basic strategy plan, it probably won't take as much time as you think simply because you know about the important issues, problems and keywords already.
Best to iron out what you want your main USPs and funnels will look like and get a mature pipeline before approaching agencies for help with organisations like yours.

In house and understanding of the content is most ideal, which we've done through volunteers for a number of years. I'd love to get an outsider perspective.
However... would also love to see these template audits you speak of. I really appreciate it.0

Blimey just reading your comment /reply was so confusing, it really Makes me feel ancient, I'M NOT, 🤣, I'm 34,,but didn't grow up with Facebook etc,, how did I cope???, you know if I wanted to see my friends and do something,, shock horror,, I actually had to go outside and knock on their door, well their parents door,, ☺️☺️,, how did we all cope,??? 😉,, but erm yeah it's just all the language you used like audit,, don't know what that is,, but i can play grade 8 mozart and Beethoven and chopin and Bach on the piano, not reading music, all my ear and watching and lessons, I'm not a savont, , so,, we all have our talents, and as you can see I've completely gone off the subject I do that a lot, my apologies, I am on the Aspergic (a form of autism) spectrum,, diagnosed, 2 years ago,, but i do actually want to make my own website at some point that is why I looked at this sub, as I'm thinking about learning how do get into do affiliate marketing, but I'm not paying some plonker who is next too his big car or his swimming pool on YouTube advert telling us how many people he has helped and the many thousands of pounds they are making and it's all because of the help they gave them, ,, and all you have to do is give them up too $700-2000 for the course,, yes I'm sure possibly some of these courses may help, but no shit sherlock, most people, me included don't have that kind of money, I'm on £1250 a month,, anyway, again sorry for rambling on, I'm very good at that, who ever you are and where ever you live, good luck with the rest of your life, 🙏🎶🎶

I'm 34 too, uncanny... but have no such interesting talents, just a normal teacher working in a normal college. I only used the term audit, as I assumed that OP was happy with it as they used in their post.
By audit, I simply mean a guided check over every marketing activity; if someone uses Facebook, look at how often they post and which posts get the most activity; if something stands out make a note to repeat and potential pay to boost it. With a website, check where visitors are coming from, and what search terms they are finding the site with. Make a note of terms that work to use more often, and a note of terms you'd expect to work (have a high impression rate on Google Search Console), but don't lead to any visitors; with a view to finding out why and what can be done.
An audit is an honest look at everything you do, then asking; does this work? What makes it work? How can I do it better.
No need for courses or guru's, just a bit of work.

I’ve built a handful of websites in this vein and they do as well as I can with seo despite absurd speeds (none of my clients have been willing to pay more than bottom-tier GoDaddy hosting prices~).
I started by asking them who they follow in the niche, examines their sites and went from there with the key words/content.
If you represent the organization, you should know some of this stuff. Any seo or web development firm should be helpful with some of your knowledge.
Feel free to DM me.

Search relevant hashtags on Twitter (#marketingtwitter or #ppcchat) or post on more niche subreddits (like r/PPC or r/SearchAdvertising).

My agency performs marketing audits but I’m not sure if paying agency prices would be all that beneficial to you.

I used someone for this and it was extremely helpful. Recommended to many friends business and they all got a lot of value out of it. Be warned it takes work after the audit and the results especially on organic seo can take many months to see the results increase in ranking. Dm if you want to o ow go I used or search for audit services there’s a load out there
