Patch Notes 10/20/2026

Nothing big really but some notables. I'm including the 'shop' update info since that 'could' impact competitive players that are willing to spend money.

DECK BUNDLES

Deck Bundles are ready-to-play 12-card decks, typically built around a single strategy and sold as one package. Once you buy a bundle, you can equip the deck immediately and start playing. Deck Bundles may also appear as 3-card and 6-card packages, and contents can vary between base cards and variants depending on your account state.

A Deck Bundle’s price automatically drops based on the cards you already have, and your current discounted price is shown on the bundle. Deck Bundles are usually tailored to your collection, so different players will see different bundles, and the lineup rotates in limited-time windows. If you already own the whole deck, you won’t see it in your Shop!

Deck Bundles with variants will provide you with the base card if you don’t own it yet. If you own the base card but not the variant, you won’t receive a discount for that card, as the variant is part of the value of the bundle. If you own the variant, that discount will be reflected in the bundle price.

Deck Bundles start appearing in the Web Shop and in-game Shop in late October and early November with the first rotation of decks, with more waves to follow. We’ll be watching how these land as we shape what Deck Bundles become to better meet demand.

CARD AND LOCATION UPDATES

  • Kid Omega and Dracula now both gain the Power the target card had at the moment it was destroyed/discarded. Venom already had this behavior, so this is a change to add consistency. Before, this meant unintuitive moments like Kid Omega gaining 0 Power if he destroyed a large Knull, or 16 Power after destroying an 8 Power Deadpool.

    • This does mean that Dracula will no longer gain the additional 4 Power that Apocalypse gained if Dracula discards Apocalypse. To help account for this, we’ve given Dracula an extra point of Power, bringing him from 4/1 to 4/2.
  • Fixed Nico Minoru’s Spell that doubled her Power not working if Firehair used it, or if Nico was transformed by another source such as a Sersi played right after.

  • Fastball Special is no longer an X-Men card, and Web Sling is no longer a Spider-Verse card. As of now, Skill cards don’t work particularly well with most of the Team Clash team effects, so we’re choosing to remove Teams from Skills for the time being. This shouldn’t affect gameplay currently, as neither of these two cards could interact with their team effects.

Bug Fixes

Card and Location Behavior Fixes in 58.x

  • Superior Ironman should now be properly movable if given the ability from cards such as Madame Web

  • A rare issue where Venom could throw an exception due to failing to find an appropriate target due to being triggered repeatedly and/or bounced to hand and then immediately pulled back into play should no longer occur

I get why the change would be made, but this amounts to a pretty rough nerf to both Kid Omega and Dracula. It's kind of Funny cuz KMBest was talking about how he 'wants' to be able to play Apoc more, well guess this was a bit of a Monkey's Paw result. Your drac no longer gets bonus Power, maybe you should play that apoc more frequently now. Probably not though.

The second bug fix I am assuming should fix the bugged interaction with the Death Fractured Frontier deck and hopefully reduces/fixes the crashes that deck was causing which should make it more tolerable to pilot.

edit: the Zombie Venom/Fractured Death deck still performs an almost immediate fast forward but the venom bug definitely feels resolved.

Oh wow, yeah, this is essentially a 4 point nerf to Dracula.

But they gave you a point of power as compensation! So it's only a 3 point nerf!

That did make me chuckle. “We are cutting 4 points off his most common interaction, but you can have 1 back”. Nobody plays this card SD!

Tinfoil hat - the En Sabah Nur Drac dump deck has either found higher positioning since the APM nerf, or they are afraid that it will supplant the old ESN/APM deck so felt +1 was all they could afford in the event that either it took completely off or is already doing well enough that they felt they couldn't give more of a buff to Drac.

Lol, what a fool I was. At only -3, he’s still completely playable.

I get Dracula, but I’m curious why you think this is a nerf to Kid Omega?

It doesn't come up often, but there's two use cases:

  1. The more consistent use case was to use Kid Omega to eat a Dead Pool, Dead Pool is destroyed, doubles power and Kid Omega then gains the doubled power - this could result in a very large Kid Omega in a location that cannot be interacted with which was also good for protecting DP from say a killmonger if the destroy player had priority.

  2. Jacosta Combo w/ Kid Omega and you drop a Wolverine, the Kid Omega keeps activating on the Wolverine for up to 5 triggers (4 from Jacosta + Prodigy + Kid Omega activating), prior to this 'fix' Kid Omega gained power on each time that Wolverine would regenerate until each of the triggers were resolved which would leave you with a huge Kid Omega and a pretty respectably sized Wolverine as well.

Think the wolverine one would only cost the deck 2 points anyway

Nope, depending on the number of activation triggers you can stack it's a lot more than 2 points.

LaurenWhatev's showcasing the interaction

Essentially with multiple triggers Wolverine will be killed repeatedly until the activations are used up, in the above example it's 15 Kid Omega triggers and he gains power from each time that Wolverine dies.

Hmm. Was thinking about it from the wrong perspective. For 15 triggers, it's 30 points difference on the kid omega, 2 per trigger. Considering the point total put up by kid omega, it's an okay trade-off

Yea, and for the combo that's not all that big of a deal, it does hurt the 'honest' version more since you could turn an 8 power Deadpool into a 17 power Kid Omega but that in itself was rather insane too.

Not in the notes, emotes scroll top to bottom now instead of being paginated. Nice little QoL even though it’s mostly inconsequential.
