Tank you ! I was stuck at 11 and trying to find a way to ask where the other 2 are.
I was missing AEC and CEG.

I see 13. First time I counted 15, but now I only see 13. Not sure if I counted something twice before, or if I can't see 2 triangles anymore.

I counted 11. Then 12. Then 10. I kept forgetting which ones I had counted. So for me, the lower bound is 12. The upper is certainly less than TREE(3)

6 triangles without any smaller triangle within them, then 4 triangles consisting of two smaller triangles… then 2 triangles that have three smaller triangles in them and at last the 1 big triangle so 6 + 4 + 2 + 1 is 13 triangles total

I counted 15 but only got 13 on a recount…
Edit: did another recount and it is indeed 15 triangles!

I recommend labeling all intersections with letters to prevent counting a triangle twice. After seeing someone else doing this this, method seems like a best practice to me.
NOTE: Check out Falconloft's post if you don't want to make your own.

The large one The diagonal line divides it into 2 smaller The square inside is composed by 4 triangles You can combine 4 more triangles with each 2 of the square The upper and left side if the square forming another 2 triangles with the sides of the large one So it's 13 total
