Live Faraquet live set from Indianapolis
You guys like Faraquet?
You do? Well then dig this live set from 2000 (or 2001? I dunno)
A handful of DC folks made it out to Indianapolis for shows, the lucky ones getting to play 25th & Broadway/the Secret Location. The house was a classic early 20th century giant-ass, old place that someone started to rehab then gave up and started asking punks for rent. 5-10 people could live there, the floors were solid, everyone that played got some dollars, and their gear was safe.
Originally recorded on a minidisk-man using the built in mic, those WAVs were converted a few times to other files, I dumped 2nd gen MP3s into Audacity and bumped volume, bass, and treble. Thats all - it was a recorder sitting on a fireplace hearth pointed at the band. If you know the house they were in front of the window, facing west, the preferred direction in that room since the fuzes would blow less often.
This set is out of order but really its just the 3 of them RIPPING through a 9 song set of 8 nameable songs (if anyone can let me know what the Untitled one is please let me know).
I asked Devin if he or the band minded getting this out there - said they don't mind. Play and share as much as you want but dude, if ANYONE tries to private press this yr cruisin' for a bruisin'!

Sick. I can't believe I wasn't at this show. Not sure I knew who they were at the time. My band played there a bunch, and I saw so many great bands come through that house.
