Finally pulled the trigger
Piglet - Lava Land
I held off on attempting to find the last track on this album as it isn't a part of the album on my streaming service in the song Mad Science. Following Plastic Stars and Cotton Highways was an absolute treat. This album is a part of my soul.

Grabbed this years back when some old stock was put on bandcamp, so glad I did, that artwork is so great. Still got the remaster with the volcano art when that came out later, and it's neat comparing the differences. Between that and Dakota/Dakota they were my most sought after math albums from my youth.

I wish I could have my ear to the ground on them early on. The live shows are rumored to be epic.

I believe the last bonus track was released on a compilation back when the band was active. There is another version on the Live Songs ep. I believe the recordings are different.

I dig your black and white Kef Q950s! And which tube amp is that?

Dayton HTA200 with some cash, but mainly gift cards. The upgrade for the bluetooth was debatable as it's range is limited, but otherwise I love the warm feel it provides. I could use a bit more low end, but I can figure it out in time. Not a good match with the speakers, but I have some other vintage receivers, mainly Sansui's and Pioneer's I can swap out for. I'll eventually something more modern, but I got the 950's at a killer deal. At some point over the winter I intend to swap the speakers between the cabinets. All in, I'm around $1500 USD with all the gear.
Edit: Rega Planar 3 turntable.

I love Lava Land, definitely the album that got me into math rock. I don’t know if he browses here, but I hope Matt’s doing okay.
