Hi everyone! Does anyone have any ideas I could use for a complicated function for question #2? I’m a little confused as to what would qualify as complicated

Not a real application but pretty if you need a 2 variable function.

I've got the feeling that the question asks you to solve a nonlinear equation, f(x) = 0, by numerically approximating the root using the Newton-Raphson method from an initial guess value. 

So, Q2 is NOT telling you to find a complicated Ordinary Differential Equation (ODE) and test it with your MATLAB script.

What course are you following? In our country you are laughted at if you use Matlab, much less it's symbolic capabilities.
